I bought this to see if it would flavor a vanilla cake mix, I added 2.5tbsp of it to the mix and it turned out pretty good. I would recommend white cake and white frosting if you’re interested in making one.

This tastes really bad. This is not cotton candy as we know it. If you want a cotton candy taste this is not it. Tastes like rancid chemicals. Yuck.

I was not able to find the sweet spot between no flavor and tasting like cough syrup. I am taking full ownership that I didn’t put in the correct amount to get the flavor right. It smells like bubble gum which was very pleasant.

The LorAnn Cotton Candy flavoring is a very good value for the price. Large bottle will last a long time. Be careful to add the flavoring in very small amounts until you reach the level of flavoring desired. Too much will taste awful! Trying to use this flavoring with other flavors will not work well.
