Does not impart much butter pecan flavor to frosting but maybe I did it wrong. I do like LorAnn products so I will keep working with it to see if I can find that perfect balance of flavor and non-bitterness. If I discover a great secret, I will come back to share it. :)

This makes the best flavored butter pecan homemade ice cream! Since I have food allergies I have to make sure of the ingredients so I contacted the company and they promptly responded. They assured me that it didn't have what I couldn't have, and told me of ones that wouldn't be safe for me to eat! That is awesome to have them care that much. Smells like butter pecan in the bottle, zero flavor outside the bottle. Would make a great caramel colored food dye. That's all it did to anything I mixed it in. Makes a completely worthless food flavoring.

I mixed 5 tsp with 14 ounces of sweetened condensed milk to make a syrup for coffee. It tastes good but it’s super dark and unappetizing.
