We bought this, a flag and a solar operated lantern. This flag pole branches out to 4 metal pegs at the bottom. They are sturdy and pointy. The stability is great even in the wind. It also comes with 4 plastic clips to hold the flag on the top pole. It is very nice!

I've bought several before, they were all flimsy. This one is triple the strength and as you can see I only have it in half way and it won't budge. It's stood up to the Elements and I am very delighted with it. The seller couldn't have been more Helpful! Having had the same problem most sellers have complained about and I've tried them all -most bend in the wind, most break when you step on the 4 spikes etc etc With this model the base pole twisting in the wind as it doesn't thread strong enough to the spike base.... Solution: I drilled a hole straight through the base pipe into the 4leg stand pipe (with everything assembled) (a tad smaller then a 1/2" screw) - Screwed in a nice thick screw, hasn't moved in a week

Sturdy and pretty! I love the extra clips and pieces that ensure that the mini flags wont come off of the stand. I had other stands that eid not have these clips and list the flags i had hung up.

I really like this little flag pole and what I like most about it is that it has 4 prongs to go in the ground to hold it stead. Most items like this have only 2 prongs and they always lean to one side or another but with the 4 prongs it stands straight and sturdy. Easy to assemble - my only complaint is the Sheppard's hook part is not threaded and does not "screw" into place. It just sits in place with a little screw to tighten that I guess is supposed to hold it in place but it doesn't, the hook can just be pulled out with no effort even with that screw tightened. Overall not a big deal, gravity holds it in place pretty well and it's not likely to just fall off on its own.

At first I ordered a different flag holder that was really cheap to save some money. It was so flimsy I couldn't even make it stand up straight. It was unusable, so I sent it back and tried this one instead. What a difference!!!! This product is very sturdy and looks great! It is thick and very well made. It comes with everything you didn't even know you needed. The flag clip stays in place, and the extra clips make sure your flag looks perfect. Don't waste your money on a different brand. This one is awesome!!!

I purchased this to place with a family member at a cemetery and within days of putting it up with a flag, the bottom clip broke off the stand. I was able to use a zip tie to hold the clip on but very disappointing that I had to. Besides the clip breaking, it seems to be holding up with the wind.
