  • Works, and I like gadgets.
Functions properly, the cutter is sharp and the color guides are helpful. Similar to other loopers in that the finished loop is not the perfect lollipop loop (meaning it is not perfectly centered above the long straight part of the wire. I had to use my round nose pliers to bring the loop part back to center, just like the other brand. I have read other reviews saying that you cannot put on a bead and have the second loop end up tight against the bead and I have to agree. It just doesn't work that way, at least not for me. However, it's easy to use once you get going. Just pre-cut your wire so that you are not constantly stopping to cut another piece. Then get going, once the first set of loops is done, center on the straight part of the wire for a perfect 'lollipop', then put on your beads and do the same. Oh, and I only needed wire pieces that were about 1 1/4' 1 1/2" long, so the waste was very low. You only need to have the wire reach to just between the two blue cutting jaws. Just feed the wire in, LIGHTLY clamp the end of the wire between the cutting jaws, then bend you wire at an angle at the top. The squeeze! The tool is nicely made and much finer than what I was expecting. I like it and feel it was worth what I paid for it. ... show more

  • Excellent Looper Plier
I am using this Looper to make knitting needle markers with charms. It is an excellent tool for making loops, and very easy to handle. I absolutely recommend this tool. It will become your go to in your jewelry making tool box.

  • So impressed
I did just get this item today so this is a quick review but I am very happy with the way this works. I have been shopping for a set that had all 3 sizes of loppers but they were hard for me to shell out the money for the set. This cutter works so well I made a dozen sets of earrings in no time. I could bend the wire with the beads on the eye pin to make the loop right at the beads. I really like the fact I can change from one size to another without fumbling for another tool. It is very sturdy and works smoothly and the step by step illustrated one page instruction sheet is wonderful. I will be ordering another for my daughter. ... show more

  • My new best tool.
I've yet to use this on an actual project. But I've been playing around with stock/spooled wire. This is very easy to use and the fact it's 3-1 will make it convenient for projects

  • Time saving and easy to use
I’m new to this tool but if you watch the video for it on Amazon where it sells it at , it’s easy to figure out. Saves A LOT of time and easy to use. I figured it out after 2 tries using a flat head pin. I can make the loop of wire on about 10 beads in less than a minute. Just line up the wire snd squeeze the handle together and it’s done! Love it. Takes about 3 or 4 tries to get it down pat and then you are off and running. It makes 3 diff sizes ... show more

  • No suitable to close out beads
If you are looking to make eye pins ONLY sure it's good. But it will not properly close it with a bead on. It leaves TOO much of a gap & after seeing how the other one step loopers function & its construction those actually do put it as close to the bead as it can. I had a bead with caps on them & they were slipping and sliding with major gaps. I am a beginner so I watched videos & tried with many different pins and there is no way to properly get it close to the bead without manually fixing it. I have arthritis so I was trying to do as little of that manual looping as possible and that just did not happen. Even the instructional videos only show when you make the initial pin, but not with a bead on. Returning and buying the other one. ... show more

  • Consistent ear wires with no waste!
This looper tool did not disappoint. I have 2 of the 1.5mm and one of the 3mm size looper tools from another company, and came across this tool when needing to purchase a 2.25mm size. For the same price as a single looper, I got all 3 sizes with this tool. You must follow directions and practice with inexpensive craft wire to get the hang of it. But I had no problems making perfect loops, and making beaded headpins and double loop bead links with no problem. Just close the tool slowly and keep gentle pressure on the beads so there's not too much play between the bead and the loop. My main use is to make eye pins that I shape on ear wire jigs. The goal is to reduce as much wire waste as possible, due to the skyrocketing prices on silver and gold-filled wire. I cut a specific length of wire and, with this looper tool, shape eye pins to fit various size jig pegs. I do not squeeze the loop completely closed, because it needs to slide over the jig peg. The eye loops are tightened afterward, when the bead dangles are inserted. I estimate I'm saving 1/2"-1" of wire waste trimmings per earring pair, while ensuring more consistency and less marring of the wire. On a side note, the tool quickly tore its flimsy box trying to squeeze it in and out. So I used an old soft eyeglass pouch to store it within my tool bag. ... show more
