  • Household Items Book
Format: Hardcover
This creative book is easily organized to stimulate creative minds using things easily recycled from items around your house...paper towel tubes, milk cartons, pop cycle sticks, cardboard boxes. Add a bit of glue, some construction paper and some paint and your kids will love the results. You will love that older kids can create and play with things for hours on end w/o much adult involvement. A fabulous resource for ideas if working w/preschool age kids who will enjoy making things w/a little help from an adult. Great resource to be used at home or at school. ... show more

  • Great Activity Book
Format: Hardcover
There are a lot of crafts in this book. Easy to get items which you probably already use or have at home. Young kids would love the activities and parents would probably enjoy making them with the kids. Pictures are well done and you could probably make the craft item just by looking at the picture. I am a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant working in a school district with elementary students and I use the crafts in this book with the kids I would with. They love them. ... show more

  • Building imagination with recycled household items
Format: Hardcover
I purchased several copies of this great resourceful book knowing that it is the best "toy" that I could find to help families to have fun together with their children year after year while developing fine motor skill & creativity. We already know that there is no need to buy expensive toys for children to have fun. Using ordinary containers, boxes, etc... that you already have with the idea of making something completely new & interesting to the children is at the heart of this book. If you have a tight budget & still want to get something worthwhile, this book is the answer. Look What You Can Make With Dozens of Household Items!: Over 500 Pictured Crafts and Dozens of More Ideas! I highly recommend the book for anyone who wants to give a gift that lasts....from toddlers and up.....and even 101 !!!! ... show more

  • Worth every penny!!!
Format: Hardcover
I love this book!!! It has SO many crafts in it to do with all items around your house. I used it as a preschool teacher for cheap yet beautiful crafts to do with my kids. When I stopped teaching I let the school keep it, now that I have my own preschooler, my husband surprised me with the book, I'm BEYOND pleased with it. I would give this 10 stars if I could. I received it in a sufficient amount of time and the book was definitely used as it was stated but was still in great condition so I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the book or the seller!! ... show more

  • Great Book
Format: Hardcover
I borrowed this book from a friend and had to purchase my own. It has hundreds of projects that are free or very little expense. Since I own a daycare that is important. The kids love the projects as well as the parents. We just use items that would have been thrown away, now those items get a secend life. I've had other books that use household items but they don't compare to this book. ... show more
