I have used Nellie's PVC free dryer balls for years and insert the lavender fragrance sticks. These LooHoo wool balls are SO much better. I don't have to deal with the noise, the discoloration of the drum over time (the green plastic rubs off!!!), and the Nellie balls require frequent replacement because the white "lids" keep breaking so I can't insert the fragrance sticks. These LooHoo balls look cute, do the job fabulously well, and I dab a few drops of essential lavender on the balls to make the laundry smell clean and fresh. Will never go back to Nellie's!

Trying to be more eco friendly, and saw a blog that recommended these. They work amazing as a dryer sheet replacement. I have not noticed that they bang in the dryer or get knotted in anything terribly. There is no scent, which is great. I cannot say that these reduce drying time nor that they reduce wrinkles much, but really, that was not what I had bought them for anyway. I have been using for about 3-4 washes per week for two weeks now and they are holding up great.

These have cut my drying time in half and significantly reduced the lint collected. I have had these a few weeks and have used them since receiving. They are great! And I love how cute they are!! Also, not noisy at all. I just leave them in the dryer. Not sure how long they last, but I've had them a couple of months and they've maintained like new with 6 people in my house. Thanks, LooHoo!

I like these balls a lot. I only ordered 3 and I think that they work well with small-medium loads. We primarily purchased them because we cloth diaper and I wanted something that would reduce static cling, help things dry quickly, and I didn't want the chemicals of dryer sheets. I have somehow already lost one but obviously thats a personal problem! I also tried putting essential oils on the balls for a scent but it didn't work for me.

They take out some static but no more so than sheets. They are very loud banging around in the dryer and annoying as they routinely fall out when I open the door, roll across the room under something so I have to crawl around on the floor retrieving them. Perhaps if they made them in the shape of a cube they wouldn't roll so far. Or perhaps if they made them into a sheet they could be quiet but maybe then they would cling to fabrics.

I love these dryer balls. No more chemicals on my clothes. I did follow suggestion on box and put some lavender essential oil on the balls but I couldn't smell any scent once clothes were dry. Did not give 5 stars because they don't prevent certain clothing items made out of synthetic fibers from becoming loaded with static electricity.
