Needs some type of rubber or adhesion on the inside because they tend to slip perhaps neoprene. I have used these type of things before from the ortho store and these are well built, tough and comfortable.

These lightning charging cables are a whole lot better than the cables that come with your iPhone, just a little thicker and the adapter ends are heavy duty. Apple should have designed them the right way the first time. The original cables are just plane cheap.
