We purchased multiple L.O.L. surprise eggs this year for Christmas and this one scored a 1.5 out of 3 based on 3 simple criteria: 1. Clothes, shoes, and accessories actually fit the doll- Kind Of- 1 out of 3 winter hats fit so I gave 0.5 points. 2. The "egg" was cute and easy to put together- KIND OF- Gave 0.5 points because Egg AND Dolls cute BUT our winter ski scene does not fit together right so my daughter can't play with it. 3. The doll stood in place as designed-- Kind Of- 2 out of 3 fit correctly and stand firm in their stands so I gave 0.5 points. The Mini L.O.L. surprise winter family won our family's "Runner-up" for Crappy L.O.L. surprise egg toy with a 1.5 out of 3 points. The dolls themselves were cute. However, accessories don't fit, the tallest doll doesn't stand in her stand correctly, and the winter ski scene pieces don't fit right so the egg scene is junk. I'm going to try to return it for defects. If unsuccessful, I'll keep the dolls but trash the rest. Now, our FAVORITE L.O.L. egg was the L.O.L. GLITTER color change surprise was a hit with my 5 year old daughter and did everything the doll was supposed to do (scored 3 out of 3 points; I left a review using the same criteria for that toy). Sadly, the other L.O.L. surprise eggs we got her didn't meet the above criteria (meaning scored less than a 3 out of 3 for these basic things the toy is meant to do). The most disappointing L.O.L. is the L.O.L. Color Change Surprise Lil' Sis & Lil' Pet. Horrific... my daughter was upset over it. Scored 0 out of 3 points. It's not even cute. Accessories were misshaped and warped AF. If we can't exchange it, I'm throwing it away because no one should have to pay for that junk. Not even worth a buck at The Salvation Army or Goodwill! We also got the mini L.O.L. Surprise family. It scored a 2 out of 3 points; the dolls were cute and the "house" is like Polly Pocket. They don't stay in the plastic stands though. And while these won't be returned, my 5 year old seemed to prefer the "regular" size L.O.L. over the Mini L.O.L.'s because they were easier to play with. She's my 1st girl so this is all new to me-- figured I'd share my full "mom" experience so others don't have to waste their money and learn this the hard way! ... show more

These have an incredible amount of detail and are too cute! The dolls are so small they have trouble staying on their stands and topple over. I say these are better for display than play.

These made great stocking stuffers for my little girls Christmas. I was going to give a low star for durability(the doll parts come apart easily "Dad can you put this back on" often, but they do go back together easy and Idk if that's just an LOL feature)
