Reviewing LOKEME Portable Closet, I have too many clothes. My winter clothes are bulky and summer clothes are plentiful, so I do the closet switch between winter and summer, moving the off-season clothes to the basement. Fall & spring are tricky, but I get by. I already have one of these in the basement, and it works great for my purpose. Unfortunately, I needed more. This was easy to put together (but time-consuming), it’s sturdy, and it offers plenty of space. It’s slightly larger than 5ft x 5ft. I do wish the canvas material was a little sturdier, but I understand that adds weight to what the bars can hold, which removes weight that you can put on it. Each panel is sturdy enough for clothes, no doubt, but if I wanted to put books on one of the lower shelves or an organizer box that had heavier items in it, I would be hesitant. The material is like the black ‘almost canvas’ material that a lot of reusable shopping bags are made of. The weave is tighter, which makes it sturdier, but similar. You have the option to use the full cover, which can close in the front to be a dust barrier, or you can use the full cover without closing the front, for easy access to your clothes quickly, or, you could not use the cover at all and just use the structure itself, like scaffolding. The front zips closed, or you can unzip it, so you can push it in on both sides. One note, you have the option to not put in the shelves (or just use one level of shelves, or mix-match the shelves, etc.) if you want to hang up long dresses, robes, etc., but you need to make that decision as you’re building it. It’s not that easy to take them out once you’ve put it fully together. I tried to get a picture of it put together, but it’s set up in my basement and the lighting is not good so the pictures didn’t come out well, since it’s a dark gray fabric. It looks just like the listing photos when put together. Luckily, I thought to grab some photos before taking all the pieces to the basement to put together. Must admit that I am a bit of a clothes hoarder and living in Buffalo , NY with four seasons we have thick, heavy and bulky clothes to stay warm all year long. With that confession all the added storage is needed. This really met our needs easily. We actually put it in our attached garage and I store my clothing that I wear less frequently. It is perfect that it has the closure to be sure that dust or smells do not permeate the clothing stored. It was a bit time consuming to put together but easily done in just over an hour for someone who is not great at that type of work. It has a material that is similar to the kind that the cloth cubicles or the shopping totes are made of. It is a tad thinner but sufficient for clothing storage purposes. I would hesitate to put extremely heavy items for long time storage. The material also ensures the overall unit is a little lighter and you can add more weight in clothing or storage items. The bars were easy to snap together and the front zips if you prefer to keep it closed. That was my favorite selling point to this versus the other options. I love that it has compartments large enough for clothing, dresses to be hung but also it can be put together so it can easily hold blankets or shoes. Kept saying to myself that all of this is not going to fit and it still stand up…. Still need more racks but it’s astounding that so much fit in this wardrobe rack. I’m not going to lie to you- it was an absolute chore to assemble this system and my hands are sore from twisting so many bars into those plastic pieces. It took me about an hour to assemble. But it’s done. I noticed a couple of errors in the instructions but trust me, go by the next picture in the third row assembly it’s got the wrong pieces listed. It’s all good!
