My cat has extremely sensitive skin and gets sores on her body if her food has a bunch of extra stuff in it and so far since I switched her to this brand she has had very minimal to no issues and it's a great price too! The type of food her vet recommended was limited ingredient and at the time those kinds were extremely expensive but this is amazing for her and for my pockets! She likes the orange bag but she LOVES the purple bag and now I have it on auto delivery so I never have to worry about making sure it gets ordered! My cats eat this brand. I usually get it at the store. For some reason they were not too much into this bag so I bought a new one at the store and mixed it and then they were better about it. Maybe not fresh.

I have two picky cats, one 7 and one 1, and they cannot agree on most foods except wet food. However, from the moment I opened this bag, they were all over me, asking for food. This is not normal for them, so it was pretty surprising. It is more costly than say 9Lives or Friskies (the latter of which they both agree on) but that's because there's actual meat in the recipe and no fillers. Since my cats go through a 16 lb bag in 5-6 weeks, I will have to see how affordable the switch to this food is. I also plan on trying the dog food for my senior pup, who has a lot of allergies -- corn the largest among them. Will post a separate review for dog food. ... show more

I bought this brand because I have fed the dog variety, and this stuff is a lot less money than Farmina. Unfortunately, within a week or so, one of my young cats began to have urinary issues. So, I would not recommend unless you're sure that you have no issues with struvite crystals. I also feed a raw cat food. ... show more
