I use the keyboard as my daily driver for programming, more than gaming. Pros: The keyboard has no flex, the keys have a nice travel and a tactile bump (as expected with mx blue switches) - The key caps have slightly concave surface and the keys are comfortably spaced. I can type quickly and with few errors. I have had problems in the past with RSI, which is why I was advised to switch to a mechanical keyboard, and I can report that the RSI problems (which required braces on both wrists) has completely disappeared since switching. The keyboard is well illuminated, with the light coming through the key caps. The brightness is adjustable, as is the illumination mode. Other functions have been added to the remaining keys, allowing control of volume & media playback. Cons: It is loud, as you would expect from a mechanical keyboard, which may be a problem in an open plan office environment, but I am using this while working from home, so no issues. For the price, it might have been nice to have had a USB plug rather than a permanently integrated cable - and the integrated cable isn't braided, it's just a regular dark grey cable. It would also have been good for there to have been a USB pass through, for easy access for USB sticks or simply a mouse. If you are the type that like a slightly loud keyboard then this will scratch that itch. The keystrokes are smooth but firm. The keycaps shine with their light very clearly. While typing this review up, a person can clearly hear my using the keyboard. It doesn't bother me but my wife commented on me going clickity-clack while using it yesterday and she was trying to watch a tv show in the same room. I got the Blue version and I do not regret anything. Hitting the keys is SUPER crisp and satisfying. It’s not the brightest keyboard, I wish the lights would be a little brighter, but for work (I use Excel a lot) this keyboard is A1. Durable, aesthetic, ergonomic, satisfying. I bought this to replace the crappy chiclets keyboard that Apple provided with our iMac. Can’t believe that I put up with that for five years. Shame on me! It’s good. Lights up nicely but not intrusively. Easy to read keycaps, solid tactile feel and key response. I'm a software developer and I used to use mechanical keyboards back in the 90s. This is my first return to them, and I'm loving this keyboard. Easy to set up and configure, and just has a great feel to it. Comfortable to type on all day every day.

I have used this keyboard every day for hours at a time for well over a year now. It still looks and functions like new. Zero issues with lighting, key wear, no cord damage. The only issue, and I wouldn't even call it an issue, is every so slight smoothing of the space bar key where my thumb presses it all the time. The keys make the "clacking" noise which is to be expected with these switches. The noise may bother some, but I enjoy the tactile feedback and sound of the keys. 100% would buy again. ... show more

I have been stung in the past when buying a "lighted" keyboard, only to find that the lights just send glare up into one's eyes and the keys do not show any light themselves.
