This review is for: Logitech G915 X Wired I ordered this keyboard to upgrade/replace my 5-year old G815, (which is still working). Finally Logitech has backlit the special characters, amazing...that they did not initially have characters backlit. The keys themself have also improved it seems to "double-shot PBT keycaps", said to last longer and are more resistant to wear, shine, and fading than previous ABS plastic keys (according to my co pilot query). Logitech's (somewhat clusterous) G HUB has improved over the years but still takes some getting familiar with. After receiving inaccurate information from co pilot, stating that the G915 X (wired or not) keyboards were not able to save user-programmed macros and light settings to the keyboard's internal memory, i was able to debunk this myself and glad i did. To be clear, G HUB is needed to initially set and then save your keyboard macros and lighting configuration, but once saved (burned) to the internal keyboard memory, you CAN uninstall G HUB and then also use the keyboard on other computers, even apple, and both your lighting settings and macros will work! Logitech's documentation does state that "complex" macros cannot be saved to internal memory. I am not sure what complex macros are, so you should check before buying. I called and spoke (on phone) with a Logitech customer service associate, they were quite helpful and helped my find the documented PDF that validated what i was looking for (the macros and saving to keyboard's memory).     • Great Keyboard

I work from home and decided to get this mainly for productivity purposes. Prior to this keyboard I tried the Corsair Vanguard 98, Razr Hunstman, keychron q6 HE, q6 max, and the Rainy. This is by far the best keyboard I have ever tired. The lights are bright, software is easy to use, and the build quality is excellent. The best feature in my opinion of this keyboard is how the keys feel. Out of all the keyboards I tried this has the best typing experience in my opinion. I initially tried the tactile switches but returned it and bought one with the clicky switches. I found the clicky switches to be quiet (as clicky switches can be) and very satisfying to type with. I love the feedback of these switches. The software is also easy to use I’m not sure why some of the other reviews say otherwise. Logitech really did an amazing job on this one.     • Buyer Beware!! Double Key pressing Issues. Avoid this one.

This was a great keyboard when it was working. Just after 7-8 months of regular usage of office work (not gaming), the keyboard started double key pressing of a random key which someone else has already pointed this out on the other review. I managed to contact Logitech support, and after a few rounds of troubleshooting and testing, I was able to get a replacement. I was happy about this thinking that this was just a fluke. Lo and behold, almost 6 months later, the same issue reoccurred on the new keyboard. I contacted Logitech support again, and explained to them what happened. They understood this is a hardware issue as this has happened before. However, this time, they won't send me another replacement unless I prove to them this was actually happening. They wanted me to attach a video demonstrating the repeating keys issue with the keyboard, while illustrating how the keyboard is connected to the USB port of the PC. Make sure to show both the PC monitor and the keys in one video frame, as you showcase the issue. In the final segment of the video, please ensure that the actual serial number of the device is visible alongside a handwritten ticket number. Wow! What a feat need to achieve!! Since the double pressing issue was happening randomly (more often then it should), it is almost impossible reproduce the issue on cue. It appears that the Logitech support thought I was making this up and not recognizing there is a serious issue of this keyboard model. Also, it appears that Logitech has never resolved this issue. I have a older version G915 which is still working great! (except worn key caps which prompted me to get a newer one). I am actively shopping a new keyboard now since randomly double key pressing will really kill your productivity. IMO, unless Logitech have a newer revision of this keyboard, you should avoid this G915X generation. ... show more

Best keyboard ever. Meets every expectation. Low profile, usb c, easily switch between Bluetooth and 2.4 ghz when switching from personal pc to work pc (love this)!!! Custom color modes with decent software (takes time to understand but it’s good). Like that the new keys have a different coating than the old version. Hoping the keys coating will last longer than the old one, we will see! ... show more
