I already used Mevo Starts and Mevo Multicam to stream baseball games. I couldn’t wait to find a zoom option from centerfield - over the pitcher’s shoulder. Tried my iPhone but it didn’t zoom in far enough. I was excited when the Core finally came (although I still cringe a little at the cost). Paired with a decent lens, it has exceeded my hopes: doesn’t overheat in the sun, WiFi reaches my router, battery lasts for hours, focus is simple and good enough, and it has survived a couple tripod tip-overs. For this streaming purpose (it’s all I use it for) I would recommend it, despite the cost. Capturing this additional angle makes watching and rewatching the games so much more enjoyable for everyone. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. New mevo core received, focus mechanism not working, was told that lens wasn't compatible. Ordered new lens and same issue. Technical support worst i have ever seen with company selling a higher priced unit. Returned....hopes this review help you make a decision when thinking about purchasing the mevo core. I have the mevo multiscreen units and was planning to add the core for another angle at a distance. Will have to look for another option. Logitech does not supply support for mevo core, and they do not have a number for live assistance. Chir is available by email contac. I found this to be a very difficult way to troubleshoot the issue. The response time is very lengthy and Chris was not helpful at all to resolve the issue......very disappointed in mevo and their support system. ... show more

This is by far the best camera quality you can get in a dedicated USB or wireless camera. Putting on the lens that fits your needs gives you so much flexibility. I'm using mine as a webcam that offers real camera bokeh and quality without the flaky software and connectivity. The software has improved significantly over time. My only issue is that active auto-focus doesn't work. You have to use the software to click and focus on a point, and it stays at that length. Also, it's expensive but you know that. ... show more
