I've owned A10s and A40s for years but never had made the jump to wireless until now. The great thing about this headset is that I've had no connection issues, quality of both the build and the sound is phenomenal (even with the little tuning that is available), and the ability to jump between my phone laptop and ps5 without a click of a button is the real icing on the cake. I am a huge Star Wars fan and luckily had my A10s of nearly 6 years die out on me to warrant this purchase! Pros: Great battery life (1 charge for 7-10 days of usage) Great audio quality Excellent Design and fun details throughout the headset Compact case allows for a small footprint when travelling Cons: Price is a little high for comparable headsets (the Star Wars name isn't cheap) The audio cable for wired playability has no controls other than mute, which most controllers/phones/laptops already have. ... show more

Great sound and mic as you would expect from Astro/Logitech. The device itself is well made and looks fantastic while also being extremely comfortable. This headset does not work with the GHUB pc app which to me is a plus as I greatly prefer the app on my phone. Wish it came with ear pads that weren’t leather but that’s easy enough to remedy, ... show more

Feels great. Mic sounds great(tho a tad sensitive side),both boonless and bones. Connects well. The ear cushions feel great and are easy enough to replace if needed. I play various games on the PS5, and in games like Apex Legends(and various cods) where audio is normally not there(iykyk), it actually does pick up quite a bit more than you'd expect. The only I guess downside is it's bass isn't real heavy, but, what it slightly lacks in bass, it makes up for overall clarity. Oh, and very rarely, it does have problems registering the mic is on. Overall, I do think it's worth the price point,tho I won't lie; my a10' and a30's seemed sound wise better for bass. ... show more

You need the Xbox dongle, then when you have the Xbox dongle switch it to pc mode and hold the power button and the Bluetooth button for 5 seconds to get it to flash purple on the headset now hold the button on the dongle so it flashes purple. Once it pairs it may turn off so unplug it and plug it back into your Xbox, change it back to console mode on the dongle and it should work. Please research further if you're convinced into buying Astro A30s. I've used Astro A40s and all my mice are Logitech so I thought it was the best of both worlds, however it is not the case. I've been wanting to write a review on how terrible they have been for me and I realized I got them on Amazon so here's the review now... I've had them since July 2023 and here's my less than a year experience pros and cons list. PROs: - Aesthetic, looks 10/10. As a StarWars fan, the Mandalorian colors and design are amazing - Never had a problem with the audio quality, everything sounds great. No problems with Bluetooth. CONs: - If you're a PC gamer, the app settings is ONLY on mobile. Does not link with desktop Logitech G Hub??? - Since it's linked to your phone, audio also comes from your phone. This was a double edged sword for me because it's nice to watch videos with your headset on and able to hear the audio without having to take one side off. HOWEVER, it's super annoying when you get phone calls because it'll cut your game audio off and ring. AND THEN, after you decline the call, you have to manually reset the volume settings so you can resume gaming. - The sound effects on the headset are still a mystery to me. It'll play 3-5 different noises and I have no idea what they mean. It sounds like it switching settings, but again I'm totally oblivious to what they mean. And randomly the headset will power off for no reason when it's not close to dying. - Another note too about the power is that sometimes when I try to power them off, it won't turn off? So I have to plug out the USB. - The ear cushions are not as comfortable as the Astro A40s, but are bearable enough for a long gaming session. - Never used the microphone, but it comes with a detachable one. Obviously, if you don't have it attached it won't sound as good, but I'm sure the mic sounds fine. - Battery life isn't great, but isn't bad. I don't like over charging any of my devices, so I just try to remember to charge if it's been a while. Overall, not worth the $200+ for aesthetic. If you look under the Astro Reddit, everyone complains about them so please research further. Find a Logitech headset that connects with G Hub. Buy the Astro A50s if you're looking for a wireless headset. ... show more

Works great majority of the time the mic likes to glitch and not work with the ps5 sometime so you have to power cycle the headset until it works. This is my second pair.

This was the first Astro headset I tried. It looks great and sounds good. The app is great and the mic monitoring is the absolute best I’ve found in a PS5 headset. However, that’s where the positives end. It’s too small for my head, and the flexible mic is weird and gets in the way far too often. If you’re trying to eat something or take a drink, the mic sits super close to your mouth and there is no adjustment other than taking off the headset. I’ve experienced the same issue with the sound and mic randomly going quiet and then back to loud again. It typically happens after I mute and unmute my mic. The buttons (especially the volume joystick) feel cheap and are not easy to use. If I kept this headset, I feel like that would be the first to break and it’s kind of important. There’s lots to like, and lots to not like. If sound quality and mic monitoring are important to you, it’s at least worth a try. I’ll be returning it, but the mic monitoring alone was almost worth it. ... show more

Battery last a long time. I wear glasses and can play for hours and be ok. I love being able to play call of duty on my ps5 and listen to music also via Bluetooth on my phone for a chill game. Sound is amazing and clear.
