This was purchased to help my son learn to put more power behind his kicks and punches for his martial arts training. It did take a decent amount of force to break the boards and after the first few uses we were still able to slide the parts back together to reuse it. After a few months the small fragile lip that clicks the two boards into place, cracked and it wouldn't stay together to practice board breaks. It was a good product while it lasted, it just did not last as long as I thought it would.

Our daughter does Taekwondo and like to use these break boards, for younger kids they may not be able to break the harder boards but is to be expected as they are mean older kids/adult. I would say these are ell worth the money and the quality is good.
