LOCTITE 401 - Fast curing instant adhesive for universal repairsLOCTITE's instant adhesive is the right choice for quick emergency repairs. The fast- curing adhesive bonds a wide range of materials: including plastics, metals or elastomers. It can also be used as a wood or rubber glue and for many porous materials such as paper, leather or textiles. For reliable bonding, the instant adhesive is extra strong and can even be used for applications that require even stress distribution or high tensile and shear strength. The industrial adhesive features high strength on close fitting parts. For ease of use, the superglue is liquid and cures quickly at room temperature.To use, surfaces should be clean and free of grease. Clean all surfaces with a cleaner. If necessary, use a primer or activator and allow it to dry. Apply the adhesive to one of the surfaces (do not apply the adhesive to the activated surface). Do not spread adhesive with a cloth, brush or similar. Assemble parts within a few minutes and position parts accurately as the adhesive sets quickly. The activator can be used to cure adhesive outside the glue line. Spray or drip activator on any excess adhesive. Fix or press parts together until the adhesive has reached hand strength.
