I'm not sure what spaghetti pasta other reviewers are buying, but I purchased 2 of these recently for spaghetti and the spaghetti fits into the container just fine for me. These containers fit 4 standard size boxes of Barilla 1 lb. spaghetti boxes. I love these! After battling with pantry moths for a couple months last year, I began looking for storage containers that truly locked out everything and these have fit the bill. I'm slowly replacing all my old containers with these after even Tupperware couldn't keep the moths out. I knocked the rating down 1 star due to the difficulty I've had trying to decide what sizes I needed - while the descriptions give you all the dimensions - and I've bought several over the last month or so - I continue to be surprised at the size of them when they arrive; they're usually smaller than I anticipated. The items I'm storing are dry - flour, sugar, grains, etc. - and the measurements for them are dry weight. The descriptions given for the containers are all fluid, I believe, so some thought needs to be given as to what size container would actually be good for any particular dry product. But I'll continue to buy these - the silicone seal really keeps contents fresh and bugs out! ... show more

Most of my food storage containers are Lock & Lock brand as they seem to make the sizes I want to fit the shape of what I put inside. This makes for better storage in the freezer. I can heat these containers in the microwave without fear of warping lids. I don't have a dishwasher, but these clean up nicely with dish soap and water.
