Local Hive Orange Blossom Raw & Unfiltered Honey is a blend of light and smooth honey from beekeepers balanced with the classic taste of premium 100% U.S. Honey. The result is an unforgettable, sweet all-American honey. We bottle this raw & unfiltered honey so you can taste every drop just the way the bees made it. Our commitment to "100% U.S. Honey" means that we never compromise on quality and purity. Many imported honeys from foreign countries (including some organic honey) have been found to be mislabeled or even diluted with other sweeteners. Local Hive Honey is always bottled raw & unfiltered to keep the delicate flavors from the pollen inside intact. This can lead to graininess, discoloration, or crystallized (hardened) honey. All of these are natural and are signs of high-quality honey. If your honey is granulated or crystallized, it has not necessarily spoiled. Place it in 110º warm water until it reliquifies. More than 150 American beekeepers produce the honey that Local Hive bottles. Some of these beekeepers have been sending us honey for generations. Some send us Christmas cards, too. Love this brand and specifically this SE "blend"..it tastes great and stores well. I feel like it's fair for the price. I know people will look at me funny but I actually use this to wash my face. Raw honey has been said to be a natural antibacterial and helps promote healing and growth in wounds. I always struggled with acne and scars on my face..finally decided just to try it and it really works for general every day washing. I use it in the shower and put it on after adding my conditioner to my hair and let everything sit for a few mins before rinsing. When it starts to crystallize I also find that to be a great exfoliant lol! I know it sounds silly but for sensitive, combo skin that reacts badly to more "processed" face washes thus stuff is a godsend. ... show more

I have learned a lot about raw honey over the past two years, so I think my review can be trusted. I usually purchase the North Eastern honey to get pollens from my area. It was not available recently, so I bought the Utah, and it did not disappoint at all. The flavor was great just like the NE, but the Utah honey was thicker and the flavor more concentrated. I can't say for sure if Utah honey is normally thicker than the NE, but I will be thrilled if it is because a much smaller amount sweetens everything perfectly, and more bang for my buck is always appreciated. I was careless when I ordered this. I did not see or note that this isn't pure orange blossom honey. It is a blend of orange blossom and just plain honey. It is good, but not as good as what I thought I was ordering.

**I received this item from the incorrect region. I ordered New England and they sent me Midwest. Please note this item is Non-Returnable. I will admit I am a little bummed it doesn’t say “New England.” (I’m not crying! I’m allergic to food from North Dakota!) However, I am also aware I will never have a visitor over who would be in complete awe of my local honey, so I won’t lose sleep over it. Plus let’s be honest, nobody here is a beekeeper or a honey connoisseur; none of us would ever know the difference, whether it was Midwest or New England or Helms Deep. And I’m not positive, but this definitely seemed to be a distributor issue (see photos) and NOT a brand issue, which is why I still left a 5 star review.** First of all, much bigger bottle than I expected. I have no clue what ounces look like in real life, I usually use a 16oz water bottle as reference when ordering anything liquid. This is a lot of honey for a very affordable price. As you can see from the photos, the label slapped on by the distributor (educated guess) says New England, when it is actually Midwest. As I saw another review with the same issue, maybe the brand should contact Amazon regarding this issue (specifically the warehouse in Wallingford, CT). The flavor of this is just perfect. The previous brand I purchased looked good, but was much lighter in color and thicker, and it really just tasted like pure sugar. This has that dark honey flavor I love, while not being overwhelming, and sweet enough that I can add just a teaspoon or two to my tea. With some other brands, I’ve noticed I had to add heaps of honey to get any sweetness out of it and would go through a bottle so quickly. I think this is officially my new go-to brand. It’s a great price (I bought it at $14.99 with a $2 off coupon) for a huge bottle. It tastes great. Checks off all the boxes! I’m going to keep trying for that New England honey, only because I heard our honeybees are the best. I read it in a book once...you’ve probably never heard of it. ... show more
