I've been using a liquid stevia sweetner for a while and enjoying it, but wanted to see if I could bypass the slightly bitter aftertaste of it - so gave this one a try. Well, there's no bitter aftertaste, I'll give it that. The issue is, there's NO TASTE - NO SWEETNESS, except for maybe a split second when it touches your tongue, but then it fades before it barely registers in your brain. It's a no go for me... I'll take the slight aftertaste of stevia over this.

The blending of monk fruit and allulose makes this sweetener taste just like sugar with no aftertaste and zero calories! It's a bit pricey but I am happy to find a plant-based alternative sugar I like that beats all the lab-created artificial sugars out there.

I purchased this product as a substitute for stevia in cheesecake because of the aftertaste of stevia just in cheesecake (stevia does well in everything else). This product removed the aftertaste but it did not provide enough sweetness. I made a second cheesecake using a combination of Besti and stevia, which was much better. After buying such an expensive product, I did not expect to have to doctor it.
