The mattress was ok for the money. After unpacking an waiting for the full expansion it was a little lumpy on top. So when you have yours sheets on it is not flat and smooth. It is comfy and soft. Very heavy box stuffed in a big box. I got a king size, it is about 4 inches short for our frame. Not sure why as it is a King size. It does measure 12 inches. ... show more

Received this 16 inch mattress, was extremely well packed. Box was heavy, which was a good sign. Once opened, mattress grew almost immediately. I was impressed by the quality of construction and lack of any odor. After waiting just 48 hours ( recommended time is 72 but I was excited ) the mattress did not disappoint. Overall.. the mattress is comfortable and works well for the guest room. The fit and size work well with the bed frame. Provides good support. I added a protective waterproof cover that for well. The main reason for the 3 stars is the mattress did NOT inflate to 14 inches. We waited the recommended 72 plus hours and yet it stayed at the original 12 inches it original inflated too! Got it for my first apartment and it is just right for me. On the edges it’s a little softer but overall, it’s a nice balance between soft and firm. I have back problems and it’s a good bed for me. I’ve had it for a month now and it’s good. No complaints. Great value for the money.

So, not what I expected, but has certainly served its purpose. Let me explain. This mattress has lots, and lots of springs. I have no idea what they are talking about when they say HYBRID... No! I have some back issues and I have been sleeping on this mattress now for about 2-3 weeks. My back don't hurt.. Thank goodness for that. However, this mattress is flimsy, and sinks on every corner of it. I was looking for one that did not. With that being said, if you are looking for a temporary mattress with a firm but plush feel, or one for a guest room, this one would be a good buy. For some reason, this feels more like a "kids" mattress but in a queen size. I am not upset, b/c it is serving it's purpose and it's just me.. I am in the military and my spouse don't have to sleep on it - it's just me for right now. Also, not very sturdy for "extra" curricular activities either. ... show more
