Format: Board book
The Llama Llama Easter Egg Board Book is a delightful addition to our collection of Llama Llama books, and it has quickly become one of my toddler’s favorites! Here’s why we love it: Story & Message: As always, Anna Dewdney’s storytelling shines through in this Llama Llama book. The Easter Egg-themed story is simple, engaging, and full of the sweet, rhyming charm that makes Llama Llama books so loved. It’s all about Llama Llama celebrating Easter with family, searching for Easter eggs, and enjoying the holiday. The story is gentle, fun, and light-hearted, making it perfect for little ones to enjoy during the Easter season. Illustrations: The illustrations in this book are colorful, bright, and absolutely adorable! Llama Llama and his friends are as cute as ever, with vibrant colors that really capture the spirit of Easter. The artwork has that signature Llama Llama style—simple, warm, and inviting—which makes the book perfect for young children. Durability: Since this is a board book, it’s sturdy and durable, which is a must when it comes to little hands that are still learning how to handle books. My toddler loves to flip through the pages, and the thick pages have held up perfectly to all the excitement. There’s no worrying about pages ripping or bending, which is a huge bonus for us! Kids will love the sweet surprise at the end
Format: Board book
My little grandson has always loved the Llama Llama books since he was about 6 months old. He’s now 2 years old and still pulls them out sometimes, because they’re just really appealing. They’re beautifully drawn with sweet, simple stories that leave you feeling happy. My grandson has been asking lately for Llama Llama Easter Egg. He doesn’t care that Easter has passed. It’s a cute story with bright, colorful pictures in which Llama Llama, during an Easter Egg hunt, finds a Robin’s nest full of eggs. And he loves the way the story ends. This is definitely a book worth picking up for your little one.

Adorable book but not long enough
Format: Board book
The book is cute overall and I love the author. I got this book to put inside an Easter basket. While I love it and the story line is cute, I found it lacking a longer story line. The book could use an extra 3-4 pages. It thinner than our other llama books. It is a gift and o hope the recipient still likes it. It was reasonable and it looks super cute. Plus it’s a board book which is super kid friendly. One star off for lacking in length but not quality or cuteness.
