I was amazed. After installing it started right up. Installation was straightforward but loosening one of the bolts mounting the carburetor was a chore for Charles Atlas. It has just been one day but the carburetor bolted perfectly and the engine started on the first pull. Why I am giving them four stars instead of five is because the spark plug is not even close to the right one for this engine. Now I have to buy a separate spark plug!

    • torque issues
If you use the recommended torque be careful, this material will crack. The first one I put on, this happened. However; the pressure washer that I put it on started right up with out any help. The cracked carb did suck air which diminished the power that was needed to run efficiently.

    • Virtually Indentical to OEM
Side-by-side, this carb looks like a direct match for the original B&S Part No.'s 796608 594287 - ie, the fuel port on the correct side, materials appear identical, quality appears the same. It installed easily and started my power washer on the first pull. To my eye, it appears to be virtually identical to the OEM. My only complaints are as follows: 1) the picture in the ad shows the top (black) plastic governor/choke arms bearing a raised B&S logo, this was not present on the carb I received, although it appears to have been purposely avoided when molded as there is a slight evidence that the same mold was used. And 2) the receiving hole was a little bit too small to accommodate the Governor linkage rod. This was remedied by drilling out the hole, which was very easy (took only 15 seconds) as it is plastic and only needed a very minor "shaving." Neither of these complaints were significant enough to lower my rating from 5-stars to 4, this is a good product at a great price. I recommend it. ... show more

Perfect fit for my pressure washer except for the spark plug which is the only reason I did not give this 5 stars. When I replaced the carburetor the washer cranked up immediately. Nice.
