We were skeptical how this would perform based on mixed reviews but decided to give it a try. We bought this for our 46" mower and used it for the first time yesterday, doing about 10 loads, filling all three bags each load. We have a lot of pecan trees, and this made rounding up the leaves so much easier. The bags fill with leaves quickly, and it's easy to empty them. This will be great to easily add grass and leaves to a compost pile! We were impressed with how it operated. We think it operated as well as it did because the ground cover was thick with leaves, and it was dry. Wet conditions wouldn't be a good time to use this, but that is also the case for mowing in general (not recommended to mow a wet lawn). I don't see any reason not to recommend this. This bagger saved me hours of work doing fall clean up. Installation and assembly took about 15 minutes, and everything fit my YTH22V46 perfectly. Instructions could be a little better, it comes with 2 shoulder bolts that replace 2 shorter bolts that need to be removed and the instructions don't state that. It bagged my yard full of leaves in less than 2 hours, and the bag full indicator works flawlessly. The price on Amazon was lower than most other places I looked. ... show more

We have a very large yard and like to catch the grass so it does not get tracked into our home. The soft bins improve the airflow and the tube rarely gets plugged. I love using this thing (and watching my neighbor rake, collect , drag , bag, dump,,,). Assembly is minimal and easy. The only thing, like many others have mentioned, the little wheel that is supposed to tell you when it,s time to empty stopped working about 5 minutes in, You just have to get some experience to tell you when it.s time. better too soon than too late because it.s sort of a pain cleaning out the clogged chute. THE MOUNTING FLANGE THAT ATTACHES TO THE BAGGER POPS OUT WITH VERY LITTLE EFFORT. I AM SURE THAT HUSQVARNA WILL SEND EACH BUYER OF THIS UNIT A REDESIGNED FLANGE AT NO COST, WHEN THIER ENGINEERS COME UP WITH SOMETHING THAT WORKS. OVERPRICED FOR SOMETHING THAT DONT WORK NEW OUT OF THE BOX. RELAX EV1, HELP IS ON THE WAY. MY GRANDSON HAS A GOOD SHOT FOR EMPLOYMENT AT HUSQVARNA. I dislike because I used it twice and a weld broke. First time was at my grandma's house and tiny yard. Didn't come close to filling hopper. Today mowing my grass busted up bager. Full weight, but expected it to handle that. Fall isn't quite here yet and that was my main purpose of buying one.

Would you rather rake up those leaves or suck them up and dump the bags? We are all too busy trying to get so much done and I can tell you that the "Honey Do List" never gets shorter. This bagger kit helps me getting the "raking" chore done faster with a whole lot of energy saved for other tasks. Does it completely delete having to rake? No, of course not, but your time with the rake is a whole lot less. Some viewers complained about how the red spindle stops spinning and as a rest they didn't know if the bags were full or not. Doesn't bother me if it works or not. I just simply turn around and touch each bag with my hand to feel if they are full and when they are I dump them. It's easy. It's not rocket science. However, if you enjoy raking, pulling muscles in your back or getting blisters on your hands than this is not for you. ... show more
