Great live moss for our gecko tank. Sprayed with some water to hydrate and it perked up within a few minutes. It definitely has a mossy, earthy smell to it at first but fades after a day or so.

I didn't find that these added any smell to my enclosure. My tortoises liked to play with it so it didn't really have a chance to get established but it was a nice touch for awhile.

It’s been a month since I set the moss in the terrarium and it’s doing great ! Some browning is to be expected to adapt to its new environment but overall, It’s alive and well. I would definitely recommend.

I misted when it arrived and it perked up but now, after 1 week, its brown. It's in indirect sun and misted well sitting on bonsai soil but brown . not worth the money.

I honestly don't know how to rate this product. The package includes a generous amount of great looking, dried moss that was exactly what I was looking for in my bioactive terrarium. The instructions state to water the moss immediately to bring it back to life, which I did - and I continue to mist it every day - but it does not appear to be growing/replicating at all. 2 weeks later and it still looks exactly the same as when I first placed it in my tank. While I am moderately happy with the result, I would probably order true live moss next time. If you're just looking for a bit of an accent piece, this would probably suit you just fine. The first photo I attached is from when I first placed the moss in the tank and the second photo is 2 weeks later. Update: After 2.5 months, nearly all of the moss has died and dried out despite daily misting. I would not purchase it again.
