My wife uses ribbon for making hair bows, as accessory for dance costumes and various other garment related uses. She uses hundreds of rolls of varying textile, construction and size every year so you can believe our opinion when we tell you this ribbon is of quality construction. No factory issues like weave errors, no runs, not egregious stains and no package damage. While this ribbon doesn't recreate the wheel as far as ribbon goes, it does come individually packaged in a sturdy box so if you open the box just right, you can pull the ribbon through for use without having to expose the entire roll to dust or any stain that might befall it while expose on a shelf or in a sewing box. Looking at the color, I can tell you it is, in fact a true white and shows no signs of age related fading. The edges are sturdy and well formed and when using the ribbon in bow craft, the bitter ends accept a bead of finishing glue without the adhesive from bleeding up the weave. This is important and for us as a bleed or run when terminating an end cut is a clear sign of loose and likely cheap weave. In the case of this ribbon, it accepted the beads without the runs, thus locking the edge from future fraying. This is a sign of good quality textile. We will likely buy more of this ribbon so we provide our honest and emphatically positive recommendation.

The 50 yards of pink satin ribbon I received is absolutely perfect for a variety of crafting and decorating projects. The ribbon is smooth, soft, and has a lovely sheen that adds an elegant touch to anything it’s used on, whether it's for gift wrapping, floral arrangements, or wedding decor. The color is a beautiful, vibrant pink that stands out without being too overwhelming. The satin material feels high-quality and doesn’t fray easily, making it easy to work with and tie into neat bows. This is a very large roll of ribbon and it came in a nice box! It's 1.5 inches wide and perfect for medium to large packages. It's also great for crafts or flower bouquets. I enjoy wrapping gifts with pretty decorations, so that's mostly what I use it for. The ribbon is satin-like, smooth, and shiny on one side. The back side has more of a matte finish. It's not papery like cheap ribbon. It holds a knot nicely. It can fray at the end, so cut it on the bias or add a little glue or heat where you cut it to keep the cut smooth. Overall, this is really nice ribbon for many uses!

I got this ribbon to make flowers as center pieces for a work event. The color is what it looked like on screen. I have a tabletop electric rope cutter, which is essentially a hot blade, & the ribbon cuts wonderfully, It doesn't melt the way some I have got does when cutting. It just cuts & the ends get sealed at the same time to prevent fraying. I still have a lot of ribbon left to cut into petals. Will update with pictures of flowers once made

Liuyaxi 1 1/2 inch, 50 yard, royal blue, satin ribbon is really sturdy and so very pretty!! I have a rather large gift I need to wrap for my partner's mother, so I needed a large, wide ribbon to accomplish this. I highly recommend as this is really high caliber ribbon! $6.99 is a fair price for this amount and quality! This will look so classy and beautiful with the gold wrapping paper I am using, but it would be very complimentary with most wrapping paper or tissue, and also for many crafts and projects!!

Full disclosure, I thought I was selecting a blue ribbon but ended up clicking on black. The ribbon itself is great. Nice quality, looks and feels very nice. I don't know what I'll use the black for but it is one of the best quality ribbons I've gotten.

I ordered this hoping to use it for bouquets and boutonnieres for my wedding. The quality isn't fantastic and the texture is kind of slippery and synthetic, but for the price I can't complain too much - especially since the roll comes with such a large volume of ribbon. The width/thickness is also very nice. It would probably be good for gift wrapping, but I wouldn't recommend it for wrapping bouquets or anything that will involve adhesives (or moisture).
