These really are fantastic, I wish I got the 5pc set instead. These are aluminum alloy not steel so they are much lighter and shouldn't rust or oxidize. I didn't realize how nice the light weight would be until I started using them, its actually very noticeable. They are super STRONG, I was worried about their strength being aluminum because sometimes that means that they bend easy. Definitely not the case here, I've use both the trowels and really put some leverage on them with no sign that they are even close to bending. They are very sturdy. Last, the handles are really comfortable, they fit well into the hand and have the right amount of grip, mostly from the shape but also a little bit from the plastic compound used on the handle. Its also great that the handles don't slip off, I tried really hard to pull off one of the handles and it won't budge. I think these will last for many years (as long as my kids don't bury them somewhere), if you are looking for a set like this, I think you will be as impressed as I am. ... show more

These are incredibly lightweight while being impeccably strong. Not one bend or blemish another using to hand dig out hostas that were buried under some vines. Handles are grippy without being sticky and easy to hold. Small hanging hole in each handle made it easy to store away.

3pc gardening tools, this makes for a nice set. Handles are ergonomic and rubberized, which both provide a fantastic grip. Have holes for hanging/storage. Mini rake has some grit to it with tines that are slightly sharpened and extra thick. One of the trowels has a depth measurement gauge imprinted on it which I find very functional and convenient.
