Why did you pick this product vs others?: Lak of options..... Build quality: Grinder is made of PLASTIC. Pretty much everything is metal excepting the wood handle. I was extremely disappointed to see that the bean grinder itself is made of some sort of plastic. Others have complained about plastic in their coffee grinds; I suspect this is what they're talking about. As I really like the design and I have not found a similar product to go to, I'l stick with this for now. ... show more

I was actually trying to grind up nuts with this, because of recent dental work. All they did was get jammed up, and nothing got grounded up. Well, I haven’t tried the coffee grounds yet but maybe if that’s what it’s intended for then I will switch it over otherwise it is well built and well designed.
