I'd been needing a new TV stand for my 55" Samsung KS8000 for a long time, as my old solution was pretty bad. I'd kept putting it off, never finding the right make, look, height, design etc for the right price. I'm actually glad I waited so long, because this one finally came along in the search results and it is PERFECT. It was long overdue to get a new one, but I knew I needed one with plenty of shelf space for the upcoming Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X, and the measurements on this one fit the bill. The next gen consoles really seem like they're meant to be standing up, more than ever before. Plus, it's wide open with no trapped airflow, something any gamer knows is extremely important. Took about a week to arrive, and about 90 minutes to assemble. It's actually very simple and straight forward, due to the metal frame design ultimately being two main frame pieces connected by a few short bars and the wooden shelves. Most of it was pretty easy on the metal side, putting in screws meant for the crossbeams, however, you'll definitely have to put some oomph into screwing in the lower shelves. They don't come with pre-made holes, and ideally, you'd probably want to use a vice to hold them in place, keep them straight, and a drill small enough to fit between the bottom left/right shelves. I did it the hard way with the included tiny screwdriver, good enough. Switched to another screwdriver of my own for the middle bottom shelf and the top shelf, since I had more room for it by then. That was much easier. Just make sure you've got the bottom shelves where you want them, nice and flush/even before screwing in. The wood is very solid feeling, not like crappy plywood ready to splinter as soon as you start screwing into it. The design fully supports the entirety of all shelves, including the top, so the metal frame is always load bearing in addition to the build quality of the wood shelves. So you won't feel like it's too delicate to hold your TV, whether the feet are in the middle or on the ends. The viewing height is perfect for average couch height, and will give you great field of vision for watching movies and playing games, and avoid neck strain. As an example, my old stand was wayyyyy too low all these years, and I didn't realize how much it was effected the image quality illusion that the correct viewing distance and height creates. Feels more like a real home theater now. So if you're unsure whether the stand might be too tall, like I was, I'd say it's an ideal height. Even family has said the same thing, that they feel much more comfortable this way. Highly recommended if you like the look of it, and are in the market for a new stand of the same size.     • Difficult to Assemble but Somewhat Sturdy and Nice Looking in the End.

The first thing to know is that the wood planks do not come pre-drilled. I almost sent this back, but in the end I decided to keep it, mostly because I had already assembled the frame before I realized the boards were not pre-drilled. Forget about assembling this unit by yourself. If you plan on getting the boards on straight and secure, you are going to need a second person and possibly a drill. I do not have a drill, so I had to just screw the screws into the particle board. It was annoying and difficult to put together. In the end, I have a semi sturdy table (there's one star) and I like the way it looks (the other star). So two stars. But the hassle was more than this was worth. If I had it to do all over again, I would not order this unit. I'd go with something with an easier assembly. ... show more

Builder beware. The 3 middle shelves do not have predrilled holes. They send screws that they feel are enough to screw directly into the MDF. It does work well. You need a drill and probably clamps to hold it still. There is no form to follow either. If you have tools probably a good product. Seemed like it would have been sturdy. But not an easy product to put together without tools. I returned with great trouble. They do not feel this is a product defect. So did not want to pay for return either. ... show more

Starting off the table is so nice once completely set up, the issue comes to putting the table together. Once we took the table out of the box, most of the pieces had small little dents or unevenness to them. Some pieces looked like they were not fully finished being cut. As for the directions, it was a single piece of paper. However if you or you have someone that is handy it will be fine. Ohhh the wood pieces for the table.... Out of all four pieces only the top table part had the holes pre cut into them. The other 3 had no holes whatsoever (as pictured with one of the pieces) which was A PAIN. A quick 30 minute set up turned into an hour plus set up. We had to physically measure , line up the wood than make our own holes in order for it to work. If you love building this is definitely for you. The hard sweat inducing unnecessary annoyance of extra labor that you put into it comes out great, but it would be even better if the job of making sure all holes are pre cut prior to packing and sending to customer's would be great. All in all its a nice table and does it's job for what we need it for. ... show more

Idiotic assembly procedure has you required to force screw into wood upside down as the final step and the screwdriver included doesnt even fit into the area you need to screw. The 3 wood shelves are the last step of assembly and its pretty much impossible to put together as the instructions show with the tools provided. All they had to do was drill 12 holes before selling this. Finish making your product. It is sturdy and even but whoever thought this was finished and okay to sell should put one of these together with nothing more than what is included in the box, or actually write in the product instructions that the customer, despite paying for a finished product, is required to prepare the product to be ready to be put together by themselves. I've put together many different items and worked in manual labor professions requiring use of tools, so I'm not some idiot who didnt get the instructions, this is just a product that is infuriatingly not possible to put together without additional tools. ... show more
