This Little Tikes bike is absolutely awesome! I cannot tell you how many people ask about this bike when out with our daughter. Probably our most favorite purchase, yet. We bought this for my daughter for Christmas (right before her 1st birthday) and have been using it almost daily ever since. Assembly didn't seem difficult and we have not had any issues if we've ever had to disassemble to travel or fit in a smaller vehicle. My daughter now prefers to ride in the bike as opposed to a stroller! She seems to really enjoy the sense of freedom the bike gives and I personally love that my daughter is safe! We are still in the first stage of the bike, where I am pushing the bike and my little one is sitting enjoying the ride. I love that the bike allows little ones to sit upright with a footrest and has an open wrap around waist rail bar and cup holder. I tend to use the rail to attach a small fan for those extra hot days. The sun shade seems to provide a decent amount of coverage for the face/head/shoulders however I still find myself having to apply sun protection on arms and legs as they seem to be exposed the most to the sun. The parent steering took a little getting used too, but didn't seem to take long before we got the hang of it. I do appreciate the storage at the back of the bike as well as the storage on the driving handle. We use this bike at the park and I like being able to store what is needed while out. The brake seems to be made of plastic and can sometimes get bent or pushed into the wheel, making a clicking sound. However, we found that it was fairly easy to gently bend and manipulate back into place. The bike fits, fully assembled into the back of both my and my husband's mid-sized SUVs however we found that when we simply remove the parent steering rail, the bike fits in the back of a car pretty well. My favorite part of this bike is the ability to transition as my daughter grows. She loves it now and I'm sure she will continue to love it! One last note. I did not realize that my daughter could reach or use the handle bars until we were walking and she grabbed one side, immediately turning the direction of the bike. Threw me off guard for a second but was a good thing to be aware of. Steering can be a little frustrating at times but honestly, if we ever needed to take full control of the bike, we figured out that we could lean the bike slightly toward the back two wheels, lifting the front wheel, and push from there (per my husband). ... show more

  • Love it

Our little one loves it. There are a few tricks in putting it together, and I'm glad the granddaughter wasn't around while I did - more than a few cuss words were required for assembly. Have a GOOD Phillips screwdriver available. If the tips are worn down, they won't grab the tiny screws. Have some pliers available. The little wrench they provide works fine for the first (larger) nut. But the tiny one on the handlebar is rough. Don't try to line up all three holes to put in the screw for the brakes/axel/wheels. Get the screw started into the brake, slide it over the axel and connect those two, then add the wheel and tighten all the way. I saw some comments about installing the adult steering pole, and was worried. Sure enough, at this 95% completed step, I was ready to send it back. Turns out, the secret is playing with the front wheel. Turning the handle (thus the pole) is what turns the wheel of the trike - there is a gear shaft inside the frame. Turning the front wheel raises and lowers the internal alignment hole. This makes a big difference between "It's almost there, maybe if I hit the pin in with a hammer. . ." and "Easy!" ... show more

  • Good for the price

My 1 1/2 year old loves it. She prefers to ride in it vs her stroller. It’s not great for long outings. The basket at the bottom is not made to hold a lot of items. And the parent tray isn’t the greatest. Mine keeps popping out of place and the phone holder barely hold my IPhone13 Pro Max. If you have a cup in the cup holder be careful because if you turn the handle to much your cup will tip. The canopy frame is flimsy. I barely use it because it’s so tall that I have to take it off to put the bike in my suv. I also wish the seat cup holder was deeper and could fit a wide variety of cup sizes. This is definitely a bike to use for a short stroll. I like That it grows with my child and even though had a lot of pieces was easy enough to put together that my 17 year old did it. ... show more

  • Happy riding :)

I am glad I bought this! It's exactly what we were looking for and I felt the price was very reasonable, as my son will be able to use it for years. I looked at a lot of similar products and this one, in my opinion, was the best value and really met my list of needs in a tiny trike. I was pleasantly surprised with how pretty the turquoise was, as well. I try to buy mostly gender neutral baby products incase babe #2 is a girl. Many of the reviews mentioned the assembly was difficult. My husband put this together in about an hour and a half and had no difficulties. When pushing the trike, it is a little noisy, so I want him to double check everything. Hopefully something is a little loose otherwise this will be annoying. I also felt the part you push, not necessarily the handle, but that whole specific piece felt a little flimsy. However, I usually push a jogging stroller so maybe I am just accustomed to a more durable handle piece, if that makes sense. I plan pushing this trike around the block and in our yard. For our long 3-5 mile walks, I'll stick to my jogging stroller. I do not thinking walking that long pushing this would be comfy for either my baby or myself. My baby is only 6 months. This product is recommended for +9months. However, my son is a BIG boy and weighs as much as a 9 month old, so I felt this wasn't an issue. When I put my baby on the trike, the seat belt securely fit him. Lastly, my baby seemed to enjoy this product which is very important to me! I'm excited to see him grow and continue to use it for years to come. Happy Riding :) ... show more
