The Little Martin is big on tone, quality, and versatility and includes sustainable wood parts. New to the series, the LX1RE features a solid Sitka spruce top, for warmth and projection, paired with stylish rosewood pattern HPL. As the first model in its series with a pickguard, it includes a laser- etched herringbone rosette and comes with a soft gig bag for easy transport so you can take your music anywhere. The Little Martin is ideal for travel but also makes a great student guitar. The LX1RE comes equipped with Fishman Sonitone electronics.

I like the guitar and it really sounds good. Well constructed and has a nice tone. However the action was too high from the box especially with the higher tension short strings. After I had a professional setup it plays great and is easy on the fingers. If you buy this plan on a nut and bridge setup. After that it is very playable. I have a full size Martin and it is a nice little replica. The sound is full and rings with a bright, full tone. The HPL seems durable and the spruce top gives it a genuine Martin look and tone. Great couch guitar and I have taken it camping in the soft case. If you want a small full body sound this is a nice addition. ... show more

I recieved my guitar today (03/26/2021) was more than happy everything was great the sound ,the body and the gig bag but everything turned off when i found out that it was missing the strap lock (2nd image).I tried looking for it in the bag thinking that it came out during the shipping process but couldnt find it .Ive sent a message to the shippers hopefully they reply .Will update you all.Rest everything is great. ... show more

This my first time even holding a guitar, so im not an expert. I haven't had any issues with t he instrument. The AI told me that I had put together an excellent beginners kit. Amazon made suggestions based on my purchase so I would h Ave the option of purchasing the necessary items for a beginners kit. Everything works, I'm having a great time learning how to play, with the smaller version. I'm able to see all of the frets from one position and reach everything with little effort. Very easy to play, loud and clear, feels sturdy. despite the laminate wood, the sound is pretty amazing from small guitar. I actually prefer the laminate because it feels so durable like I don't have to be overly delicate with it. It's cheaper than the Taylor mini and very well made.
