This is my third order of these markers. Around the holidays last year I ordered a package of gold and recently replaced those — then decided to try the silver too. This box of silver is amazing— just like I remember the first box of gold. Once the markers are primed, they are so smooth and easy — and the color comes right out. I use these to trim the edges of painted seashells and for details in the paint sometimes. The latest box of gold I purchased, however, is garbage. I don’t know if I got a dud, or what, but it’s like the marker tip dries out almost immediately after it’s primed. I can use it to flood the area, and then it doesn’t stay wet to continue to trim the edges, and I have to reprime it again — repeatedly — just to finish one seashell. It’s a total pain. I’m a little annoyed and hoping it’s just a fluke.

I had to hand write and address 600 envelopes for my wedding and expected to use all the markers. I only used one and they all came out beautifully. It was on black cardstock and it was very shiny and dried pretty fast. There is definitely enough paint and I even had enough to DIY some gold acrylic font signs.

This product was fantastic! I've struggled for decades trying to find any gold metallic ink/paint that would actually dry to a solid and non-tacky finish...and this was it! Was well worth the wait, but if you could have existed YEARS ago, I would have been a happy man. 😁
