I have combination dry/oily skin. Even with primer most foundations go on cakey on me. I would say this is medium coverage and it goes on so smooth! It does stay tacky for 5-10 minutes, so I sit it front of a fan to allow it to set quicker before finishing with setting powder. This is way better than the expensive brands I’ve tried! This is such a great full-coverage foundation. It's hard to find a foundation that fully covers and lasts as well as this does. It's definitely thick though, so sometimes it looks a little cakey if you put too much on. Great for long wear though.
