I have lots of expensive (Ivanko, Rogue, etc.) bars - 7', 5', Curl bars, etc. I have the iFast 4' bar and it's a decent bar, but it's 25mm thick and I wanted an additional 4' bar that was thicker. For $80 this was a bargain and I didn't know what to expect, as in the past I've had $80 crappy bars that I ended up cutting up and using for parts. This is excellent quality. The coating seems like almost a heavy paint so I'm not sure how it'll wear (time will tell), but the bushings and collars were very precise. No play at all in the collars, and a decently free rotation. The knurl is deep but soft, it won't cut up your hands, almost like it's muted a bit. Specs are right on - 20lbs. Collars are 1.960" (I checked them with verniers). Also, my Ivanko collars and plates slide on and off easily. I'm more than pleased with it so far.

Just received my new LIONSCOOL 4.9 ft Black Olympic Bar. This thing is beautiful and extremely well made!!! The knurling is perfect, the bushings and bearings provide a long silent spin, and the deep gloss black finish is gorgeous and looks a lot like Cerakote. Shipping was FAST after I ordered and, in fact, it got here a day early! Packaging was awesome too with the bar being inside a very strong thick cardboard tube, sealed at both ends with plastic caps, and the tube was inside another shipping box - great care by the Seller to double box to protect this heavy bar. Also included with the bar was a Thank You card and a large pictorial workout chart which we will frame and hang in our home gym! Nice touch! Great product, great Seller! Excited to add this to our gym!!! Thank you!!

Build quality seems to be great, collars are holding up to metal plates, I haven't loaded it down a ton, but I would believe that it can hold up to around the advertised weight capacity (although I'm not sure why you could put 700 lbs on an E-Z bar). Diameter is the reason I purchased this bar, as I didn't want the smaller mm diametered bars. Also helps that this bar looks excellent and feels good. The Knurling isn't overly aggressive, but it's not weak or useless. Hoping this will be the one and only E-Z bar that I purchase. Almost two months in and no complaints.

Very solid bar and can handle heavy weight and abuse. I got the red bar and really love the color. Sizing and all is pretty standard. Only thing is knurling is quite smooth so I don’t use it for bench or deadlift unless I use straps.
