This yarn is soft, beautiful and the transition from light to dark is invisible. I haven't finished my project yet, but it looks like there will be plenty of yarn to make it to the end. I am making a four seasons shawl with size 4.5 knitting needles and a circular cord. It is very warm as it suits on my lap during the knitting session. Callaway is beautiful. It's light and fluffy and squishy, however I did have issues with it splitting. So experiment with your hook size, I believe that was my issue. I will definitely buy this yarn again.

It is so hard to find a yarn with a true ombre color change and this is a perfect one. My only complaint is there aren't more colors and different weights. I would buy them all. The yarn is also so soft and perfect for blankets and Amigurumi. I have had zero issues with it splitting while I work with it and the stitch definition is there. I absolutely love this yarn. It’s so soft, and works up so well. I originally saw a blanket made with the hot pink and I had to know what kind of yarn it was because it was so beautiful. Once I found out, I bought it in hot pink and purple (so far). I think it’s a great value for the money. I haven’t been able to find anything like it anywhere else. It doesn’t bleed when you wash it either. The yarn is a 4 weight and the thickness is exactly as it should be. It’s 5.2oz and 295yds, which is a decent size for many projects. I bought 3 of the hot pink and used it as a stripe between another yarn (lion brand ice cream roving yarn - Shirley temple) to make a blanket and it turned out so great. I love it! ... show more
