Coming up to 4 months of use now, and about a total of 6 or 7 washes through a full-sized, front-loaded home washer and dryer. Already threads are coming out of the sleeves' inseams. Threads are coming apart from the sash/belt. Wore this primarily through the winter when it's cold inside the house. I don't use this for absorbency - just warmth. I like the weight and luxuriousness of the fabric, but I had to knock off a star due to the fact that threads are beginning to pull out after one season. No holes at the seams yet, but at this rate I'm not hopeful. EDIT: Three years later, I'm changing this rating from 4 to 5 stars. I've long since cut off the threads mentioned above, but the seams are still very in tact. They must've been extra/loose threads that weren't trimmed during the sewing process, which is pretty normal. Everything about this robe is still holding up great after 3 years. ... show more

I bought several robes to find one that my daughter would like. Since it was a gift for her, I didn't care about how expensive the robes were, I just wanted a good quality robe. She tried on about 6 robes and this one was by far her favorite, it is a thick and heavy robe, but the softness and absorbency won her over. I ordered her a medium (usually her size) and it fit her big. She liked the extra room and the robe has barely shrunk after being washed regularly for the past 5 months. I tried to order more robes from this brand for myself and family members but they are not available. I hope the company does not stop selling these robes - they are a real treat. ... show more

I've ordered half a dozen waffle robes in the last year, looking for THE perfect robe. This is finally the one. Big, fluffy, envelopes me. The herring bone keeps it light, but it dries me off after my shower. I wish I had order this a year ago!

I bought this because of the good reviews and I needed a replacement for a robe I bought years ago. After first wash, the belt has come undone and I'm either going to have to pay to ship it back for a refund or repair it.
