I purchased the washer for my apartment there aren’t any utility hookups. The washer works great! It did take me awhile to figure out how to attach the hose to my sink. It helps to hold the metal ring just right under the faucet while tightening it. That way it won’t slip down when you turn on the water. I recommend buying the extended 6ft hose for draining the water as the one attached to the washer is about 3ft long. It cleans my clothes and spins wonderfully as well. There are instructions but I had to look to the internet to see how much clothes I could fit on the wash side and the spin side. So I fill up my washer with clothes loosely not packed half ways using 1 laundry pod before I fill the tub with water 3/4 of the way. Then I start the washer for 15 minutes. After the cycle is done I turn the drain cycle on for about 1 minute. Then I fill the washer with water (1/2 a tub) for a rinse “wash” I set the normal cycle for 6 minutes and put in a very small amount of fabric softener. When it’s done I drain it again for 1 minute. Then I fill the spin side with the clothes half ways. You can pack the spin side and should press the clothes down with the plastic guard to make sure the clothes are level and it gets some of the water squeezed out too! I only use the spin cycle for 3 minutes. Then I repeat until I have spun all the clothes. The spin cycle isn’t loud unless the clothes aren’t level or you have filled it up more than half ways. You can hang dry your clothes safely no water will drip on the floor after the spin cycle. As other reviews have stated this isn’t fully automatic washing. You will have to turn the knob yourself from normal wash to drain for washing. Then repeat for rinsing of your clothes. The washer cycle stops HOWEVER THE DRAIN CYCLE DOESNT STOP BY ITSELF. The motor will keep running so you can’t leave the washer by itself. You will have to turn it to the normal cycle to stop it from draining. I can keep up with my laundry for 1 person using the washer 2 times a week. I wash jeans, shirts, shorts, underwear, bras, flat and fitted sheet, towels and thin throw blankets (60” x70”) I haven’t tried bath sheet towels and a twin size electric blanket wouldn’t fit in the spin cycle side. The tub is easy to pick up and place in your bath tub to get rid of excess tub water after using. It has a built in handles on each side and a built in cord handle to hold the electric cord in place after using as well. I have used this in my kitchen and bathroom. The outlets are standard US outlets where you could plug in a microwave or blow dryer. I’m happy with my purchase. It saves me money to wash my clothes at home and I don’t have to lug all my dirty clothes to the laundromat.

After an extensive search I decided to take a chance on this one. I have had it since Nov 2025. No issues so far. I don’t know how long it will last but I am enjoying the convenience that comes with using it. I also like that it has a pump. Now yes this product had some negative reviews but I looked at the overall reviews to decipher what were the complaints or issues. I decided to take the chance as there were more positive than negative. For me, I decided to put the machine in my bathroom. It fits against the wall by door with ease. I did turn machine over so I can move the hose from the left to the right (underneath), so it can closer to the tub to release water directly. I confirm there is no leakage from hose that came with the machine but you can see it is cheap material but it holds up well. Power supply: I bought an extension cord that was suitable for washing machine (had to google the wattage needed) and then bought one from amazon. Yes i did see it is advised to hook machine directly to outlet but that was not doable, so the next best thing is getting the appropriate extension cord. Connection from bathroom sink to machine to fill machine up: I wanted something easy to connect where I didn’t have to ask anyone for help so I found something on amazon and it works well (no leaks so far). …..Note: as advised I bought my own water hose, the one that came with machine was flimsy looking —- anyway I just use the lid/cover of machine to hold the water hose in place while it fills up (you just hv to keep in mind to monitor it). In regards to noise level for washing machine section - it’s bearable. Like I don’t care bc you are getting the convenience of washing your clothes in your house or apt, than having to laundromat. The noise level for drying section - well the trick is how you level the clothes. It is what it is, sometimes you get it level right and sometimes you don’t. Overall no issues. For convenience - I love having this washing machine. I wished I had bought one years ago. Drying - it’s satisfactory. The machine nearly dries all clothes (as per other reviews like 98%); then I hang it up. I believe it says the machine uses air drying. You will figure out what works for you. Note: Only comforters cannot fit in here. Even if it could, I wouldn’t do it unless I bought an electric dryer. Spin - is fine. No issues. Just like any other machine you have for a house. Lastly I appreciated all the pics showing how diff ppl connected the machine and where they chose to put it, as it helped me figure out what to do with mines.

My wife and I live in a 3rd story apartment. This works fantastic in a small space. Our first one washer and dryer lasted us 4 years. Unfortunately the water pump died. We just got our second one and it’s still a bang for the buck. Cleans clothes, spin dry, and hang up to dry. It looks great and perfect for leaving in a corner when not in use. Some notes for anyone wanting to buy one for an apartment: 1.You may want to purchase tubing or a better quality hose for the drain and water inlet as they tend to not last under frequent moving and use. For us I replaced all hoses with fiber reinforced tubing and quick disconnects for $20. 2. Find a good thick matting or rug to put under as sometimes pending on load size it can grumble a bit. Other than that Great product and could not be happier!! 5 star!

DO NOT buy this washing machine. Also, since it's NOT shipped by Amazon, you WILL have to pay for shipping fees. Shipping fees cost more than the washing machine due to the size and weight, so you're really just stuck with this. This washing machine has A LOT of shortcomings that makes it unrealistic for use. CONS: 1) The water inlet hose does not work well. Either: the water enters the pipe and gets stuck somewhere in the plastic pipe, or the water trickles in at a very slow pace because of the small size of the inlet pipe. You need to use buckets to pour water in. The manual also mentions using buckets. If you're strong and able bodied, that may not be an issue. But if you're not very strong or disabled, this is going to be a huge problem. 2) It's pretty darn loud. Imagine a helicopter taking off right next to you. That's how loud the motor is. The YouTube videos on this doesn't capture just how loud it is. It's really really loud. If someone stood outside your apartment and listened, they'll definitely hear it. 3) You can only use a small dash of detergent. Imagine drizzling a bit of dressing on your salads. That's how little you can use. Any more than that and the detergent foams up and you need to spend forever scooping it out. No I'm not exaggerating. I literarily just finished scooping out a ton of detergent foam before I sat down to write this review. 4) The water doesn't drain completely out of the outlet pipe. You need to lift the machine up, brace it on the edge of your tub and let gravity pull the excess water out. If you don't have a tub, you need a drain that is on a lower level so that gravity will allow the water to flow out. Again, if you're able bodied and fairly strong, this may not be an issue. But if you're not, this is a huge problem. 5) I have a lot of extension cords, so I didn't find this to be a huge problem. But the power cord is quite short. Around 3-4 feet. 6) The washing machine did accurately list its size and dimensions. It's not as small as you think it is. It's also fairly heavy. I needed another person to help me move it to where I wanted it to be. It's not easy to put away for storage. You'll have to find a place to fixate it and leave it there. PROS: 1) The only thing I DID like was the spin dryer. I only needed to set it to 1 - 2 minutes to wring water out of my clothes. Since I cannot return it, I'm really just washing my clothes in the sink and spin drying it so that I don't have to wring the clothes. 2) You won't be getting a used machine because the seller doesn't pay for return shipping and return shipping costs more than the machine itself due to weight and size. I literarily live in the same state where the shipper's warehouse is located and the shipping is well over $170 on UPS. FedEx and USPS was far more than that. In summary, don't buy it. Spend the extra money and get a proper washing machine.

Let me start by sharing I do have laundry hookups in my basement, a good bit of space down there and a floor drain (but no vent to outside and no windows that open down there). I do not live in an apartment, but a very old house. However, due to issues with a basement wall where my stairway is buckling in (I now have braces installed courtesy of foundation repair people) I can not fit more than 21" width of anything down the stairs. I had been going to the laundromat for the last 20 years. I am caring for a disabled husband now and I do not have the time to run back and forth to the laundromat. I also did not want to hassle with finding a way to hook up laundry hoses to my kitchen sink and our sink drain is a problem. My upstairs bathroom is tiny and has no electric outlets. The solution then was a twin tub portable mini washing machine in my basement and a separate spin dryer. I actually like that this takes some manual labor as I have more control over how much water to add, how long to wash and rinse, how much to drain at a time and so on. I have done two loads of laundry so far and have learned a few things. One, just because the capacity of this machine is 18 lbs in the wash tub, that does NOT mean you should put that much in at a time. Heavier clothing items should be washed separately in a small load. I originally planned on a "medium load" that filled a small round laundry basket, but within minutes of starting the wash I could see this was too much, even though only 1/2 the tub was filled with clothes. I had several pairs of heavy pants in there and a few heavier towels along with some shirts, underwear, songs, and a pair of long johns. I removed the towels and pants and turned this into two loads of laundry. It worked far better this way, not tanging my clothes and shaking the machine due to the weight of the laundry. The second problem I encountered was the lint filter in the tub kept popping off, even when I adjusted my load to a smaller load and kept the water level no more than halfway up the tub. The only way I could make it stay in was to wrap two rubber bands around the top and bottom of the lint trap and then insert it back in. This worked beautifully. I don't know if this is a problem with all these machines or just mine but as long as I found a way to keep it in I am ok. Once I figured out those issues everything else went very smoothly. I do not use the inlet hose at all. I bought a small laundry hose for $10 at a hardware store that fits nicely to my universal cold water hookup/faucet and I simply use that hose to fill my tub as needed. I do not hook it to my washing machine, I just hold it and fill the tub. it only takes about one minute to fill 1/2 way. I could have run the drain hose directly to my floor drain, but again that drain can be testy so I have a large laundry bucket on the side of my washing machine to drain water in, and then I later tip that and drain it VERY SLOWLY into my floor drain (residue sinks to the bottom so I can catch some of it that way too so it doesn't go in the drain). Its an extra step but ensures I will not clog a drain with too much water at once. I added a mesh wire lint filter (from a package of five) I bought for $5 at Menards on the end of the drain hose and it catches a lot of lint/hair etc. I did notice a small amount of lint on my clothes from the washing machine and I still have yet to figure out what to add to the lint trap in the washing machine to catch more of that. It wasn't a huge amount but noticeable. The washing machine agitated my clothes very well and created a lot of soap suds. I did try the spinner and it worked decently, no problems at all. I use it as a rinse (added a little water and did a spin cycle in it), and then after draining the wash tub I add more clean water and rinse my clothes again in the washer. My final spin I do in my Panda spin dryer as it is much larger and more powerful than the little spin dryer on the Auertech machine. I hang my clothes upstairs in our spare bedroom on drying racks. So far this system is working very well for me. If I need to wash large blankets, I can hand wash those in my bathtub and throw one at a time in my panda spin dryer. Everything else (aside from coats) I can wash in my Auertech. I don't need a dryer and I hate how those damage clothes anyway. I have always hung at least 3/4 of my clothes dry even at the laundromat. This was a very reasonably priced machine and is powerful for the price. My clothes did come out very clean and fresh, but slightly stiff as I think I used too much soap. Definitely a learning curve with this! I only used a half a capful but now I think I need even less for a small load. The plan is to wash an average of 3 small loads per week between my husband and I (we are frugal with clothes and re wear stuff more than once before washing). Each cycle/load takes about 45 minutes from start to done hanging clothes on a rack after spin drying. This beats a fifteen minute drive to the laundromat, waiting around for loads there about an hour, and hauling it back to the house another fifteen minutes. I don't have to deal with traffic, crowds, finding an open washer and dryer and spending $$$. My takeaway is that this machine works well if you baby it and do smaller loads at a time. I can see that the drain hose is very delicate so I am extra careful with it and I also hang on to it a bit when I am draining the tub. This is another reason for not having it directly on the floor running to the drain. I definitely stay around my units the entire time I am washing and never walk away. But it goes fast as I am always doing something. Overall I am happy with this unit. It fits my needs. It will come in handy during blizzards in the winter as I don't have to leave my house now!

It’s been a year since I’ve gotten this and it is a LIFE SAVER. I moved into an apartment with no washer/dryer and on top of it, I don’t drive so you could only imagine the amount of money I’d be spending to be doing laundry. This fits everything I need it to other than large blankets and pillows (still looking for one large enough to do those that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg). Small throw blankets fit just fine, one at a time. I have had absolutely no issues with mine whatsoever. The lint catcher doesn’t really work but I was refunded $15 for that and it’s not a deal breaker for me. I usually do about 8-9 shirts, one or two pants depending on how big and heavy the material is, same with crew necks, hoodies and towels. I can fit my queen sized sheets and pillow cases all in one load as well. I put mine in my bathtub and use my shower head to fill it up. That takes about 5-6 minutes. I also bought lint catchers for the drain hose which are affordable, just to make sure the lint and hair don’t go down my drain. I do one wash with a small amount of laundry detergent, the second wash with just distilled white vinegar and my clothes come out very clean. With underwear, socks and towels I usually do a third round with distilled white vinegar to make sure everything is extra clean. I also wring them out completely, before each kind of wash, only spin dry things in between if I think something is more dirty or I’m too lazy to wring them out but that rarely happens. To dry the clothes and fill the washer tub at the same time, I wrap a hand towel around my shower head and use the lid to hold it in place while the spin side does its job to save extra time. This is a HANDS ON type of washer. Yes, you do more physical labor wringing out the clothes before spinning them and walking to and from where your washer may be but I promise you it is worth it. This also doesn’t use up a lot of electricity. The spin dryer gets clothes mainly dry and I don’t have an apartment sized dryer (I see no need for one personally, I like to air dry my clothes) so I just hang dry them in a room with a fan running or leave them in my bathroom when my radiator is on high. This washer is also cheaper now then when I first got it so I highly recommend this one as other ones are almost just as expensive but smaller in comparison. This also may be a bit larger but it isn’t very heavy. I only move it into my tub as I keep this in my bathroom at all times but I’m pretty weak so if I can lift it, I think almost anyone can. I promise you that this is worth your money (as long as you don’t get a dud obviously and take care of it by not overloading it). I waited a long time to write this review and if i remember to, I will let you know when it dies on me lol.

I don’t usually write reviews but I gotta say this little washer/spinner is wonderful! It’s small and great for apartments or small spaces. I have a washer dryer hookup in my apartment but didn’t want the cost of new units or the risk of used so I tried this. I hooked the hose up to my hot water spigot and it works like a dream. I can easily do about 8 tshirts in a load but have to spin just 4 at a time. The spin gets them to just damp and I hang them on a drying rack with a fan blowing for the full dry. I do have to iron a few things but I don’t mind. And I still take blankets and such to the laundromat but I no longer have to trek there once a week. It’s not super heavy and can be moved fairly easily. It drains well but don’t go too far for too long when draining so as not to burn out the pump. It isn’t quiet but it isn’t majorly loud. (I put mine on a mat to soften the noise.) and it doesn’t take long to wash or spin so the noise is short lived. Also the seller is amazing and responsive! I emailed about getting a hose for the cold water spigot as they only sent one intake hose. (There are two intake ports on this machine) However the intake on the spinner side puts water into the spinner itself NOT in the wash side, not sure why you would want that? Anyway I also mentioned that I didn’t receive a user manual or any instructions. The seller replied within a couple of days and sent me an intake hose and clamps AND a belt for the pump and instructions! If you’re looking to ditch the laundromat and don’t produce a lot of laundry weekly then I would definitely recommend this product! It’s affordable and handy. I’m looking at getting a baby dryer because I will say that clothes don’t come out as soft and fluffy with this setup as they do after being in a tumble dryer.

I had the Costway washer of similar, yet smaller design. It took no more than two or three full buckets of water. In contrast, this unit can take up to four or five full buckets easily. It hardly takes up more space! Just a little thicker, a little wider, and a little taller. My only issue is the short cord. Extension cords fix the problem, but why not just provide a longer cord? I used to put the Costway washer in a chair beside the bath tub so that gravity could provide the draining: there was no pump. You will have to get used to using this new washer which has a pump. The pump works very well; you just have to learn how to coax the last bit of water out the hose. If the hose is not flat on the ground (in my case, it has to go over the lip of the tub), then there will be a small amount of water left inside the washer by the pump, which is fighting gravity to get the water over the lip of the tub. I simply lift the washer onto the basin after the final cycle, and use gravity and the pump to complete the drainage. It is fairly easy to move and to lift if you're used to the Costway unit. There is no installation, since it is portable after all. The spin dryer is a bit bigger too, and completely functional. The Costway washer lasted me 7 years. Impressive. I used to help the agitator go around with my hand to save stress on the motor. The motor finally blew. I also "help" the motor with this new washer. I feel the motor, even on this washer, could be a bit more sturdy and powerful. Also consider, the clothes would spin back and forth better if there were a top motor acting in tandem with the bottom motor, providing less stress on each. It cleans just as superbly as the Costway and Gigantix units. Be mindful; a load with four buckets of water takes twice as long as the two buckets you may be used to. Get your game face on my friends.
