Exactly as described. Very comfortable. I have a mattress protector on top of it and it stays in place . It expanded quickly and fully to fit the king sized bed. There was just a slight smell that went away after a couple of days. The cats love it because they can cuddle up in the blankets. I'm not sure how cool it will be this summer. I was hoping that this would be a little bit more comfortable. The design is nice, it is well build and quite heavy. All of that said, it is quite firm. I expected it to be a little bit more gentle. Hoping that it will "break in" a little bit over time. Not worth returning, as I would never be able to get it back into the shipping package after removing the vacuum pressure.
