We found this dresser to be exactly as expected. Fairly easy to put together. We bought a rechargeable screwdriver and found that to be helpful. That said there were times and certain places where we could not use it. We like the color and the quality. We did not expect it to be wood or top quality and it isnโ€™t. That said it is very nice and does not look cheap. Unlike some of the reviews of some of the others, we find the dresser to appear and feel very sturdy and heavy. The color is exactly as pictured. It is, indeed, not a coastal color per se. It does have some golden brown hues, but also has some grayish brown, so it balances out beautifully in our room. Expect to spend some time putting it together since it is in need of complete assembly. Study the direction pictures on each page completely before assembling. Adjusting the drawers takes some compulsiveness. For some reason, some of the drawers fit better in certain areas of the dresser than others. Tried juggling them around, but also tried tightening up various screws and making sure that everything is aligned properly. I found sometimes by taking the screw partially out and re-inserting it, making sure that it is at a 90ยฐ angle to the frame it fit perfectly. ... show more

Dresser was very well packaged. No damage. Lots of pieces and took 3 hrs to put together, but I expected this. Picture directions, easy to follow if you look for landmarks on pieces. Overall Iโ€™m very happy with my purchase!

    • Overpriced children's dresser

It is very much not what I expected. The overall look of the dresser is just like the pictures (color, design, etc.), but this should be advertised as a nursery or child's dresser. Before ordering, I measured out the space I needed a dresser for very carefully and then compared those measurements to this dresser. Everything seemed like it would be fine. Took a long time to actually get delivered, though. When it finally arrived and was put together (last night), it is only then that you realize how very small it really is. When I say "small", it is in reference to the overall size of the boards โ€“ they are very thin... about a half inch wide (which was NOT a measurement included in the online diagram). So, I feel the drawers are "delicate" in a way, meaning, this dresser would not withstand normal, long-term wear and tear use, in my opinion. Thankfully, this was purchased just for a guest room and will not actually get a lot of day-to-day use, but, honestly, this dresser is actually smaller than my daughter's first dresser from when she was 3 years old (and cost more than twice as much - I paid $260 for this one) ... I should have just kept hers, because her drawers were about 8 inches deep (the ones on this dresser are just barely over 4 inches deep), and the dresser was just about the same in sturdiness, maybe a little more so, as this one. You live and learn, I guess. I would NOT recommend this dresser for anything beyond occasional use, or, perhaps for a nursery โ€“ it would be great for a nursery. It is, however, a really pretty little dresser, with a rustic look to it... but just not very practical, in my opinion. ... show more

Well received it the other day and must say even though it took around two hours to put together, it was well worth it. Everything was there to put it together with no problems. I like everything about it and it seems like it was good purchase in my book.

Really like the color of the wood - very rustic looking. Instructions have no words, just pictures. It did not seem that hard to assemble - just lots of parts. Seems pretty well made. Perfect for out spot.
