Although I wish the winder itself was a little bit heavier, the overall quality was still pretty good. The most important part was the cord itself, no worries there. I'm using it almost daily with a 2000 Watt inverter generator without issue. I'd recommend this cord and winder to anyone needing it for a similar application.

The cord appears to be good quality, 75 ft is a decent length with this gauge of cord as far as a balance of weight and performance. My main gripe with this style cord reel is that there's no friction mechanism to stop the real from free spooling, so the cord tends to unravel when in the wrapped up position of any length unless you keep tension on the cord which often makes it pull out of the plug, when it unravels then it loops around itself and gets tangled inside the cord reel kind of defeating the purpose of a cord reel in the first place. A minor revision could solve this problem and make this a 10 out of 10 product

I really like this and should have bought it a long time ago. I had a couple of cheaper solutions and they were always a pain in the butt. This is much easier to use and put away. I do wish it had non-skid feet on the bottom though.

Purchased this as.a.gift for my son-in-law and he absolutely loves it. He is.a carpenter and says this really makes jobs easier. He said the quality and durability are better than his popular name.brand reel. Give it a go!

This cord works great as far as being a multiple outlet source but the reel isn’t that great. The cord always loosens when not in use. This causes issues when winding and unwinding the cord.
