It’s very soft. We think it’s great right now, but wonder if it will compress over time. We do not feel it adds a lot of cushioning to our mattress top and would buy a thicker one, given a do-over. As for pain relief, we cannot address that issue.

I bought this to enclose a latex foam piece that I had and wanted to use as a topper for my mattress. It worked great and was not hard to put on. My foam was three inches and I purchased the 3 inch cover. Very happy and I am getting a second one for another piece of foam that I have.

It was hard to close the zipper on this item, because the sewing was poorly finished on the inside, leaving long strings bloating the zipper from closing. I had to use a scesser to cut the extra sting fabric.... It was. a pain in the neck to do so. But after it was done, I was able to close the zipper, and it looks great, however I am afraid if I put this for washing it will fall apart (since the sewing around the zipper area is Messi, not really well done. ... show more
