My original review was for the memory foam pad. The topper cover fits perfectly and helps keep the memory Foam in place. I am changing my review. We transferred this memory foam pad to a firm mattress and that made a difference. It no longer sinks into a valley and is fairly comfortable. We even used it on the floor for the kids. We also bought the cover and that helped. I still don't think memory foam is that great and I will not use it on a soft mattress. I don't know what the big deal is about memory foam. I will never order it again. I ordered the 3-inch-thick foam thinking it would be good for the body. The body sinks down to the bottom and then you are surrounded by a valley of foam especially when it is 3 inches thick. A one-inch foam topper would be better. It makes turning over in the night a problem. If you like sleeping on a hard surface than you may like it. After sleeping on this for 3 months, my body aches all over. I doubt this is good for the body. It is better to get a mattress topper that is not foam. I had a wool topper but lost it in a fire. That was like sleeping on a cloud but with support. ... show more

We have a twin XL topper that lays on the floor for naps/exercise upstairs. I don't want to feel straps underneath it so this was a perfect cover for us. It fit our twin XL topper perfectly but when I went to zip it up the zipper was already broken. There are no covers this size for an exchange. I am so disappointed! Just be aware, the zippers are cheap plastic and may break before you get to use it. Return was easy but I really wanted the cover. UPDATE: I decided to take another chance with this same cover. I ordered a replacement and have had zero problems with it. Fits my topper perfectly and the zipper is holding fine. ... show more

I finally found actual memory foam toppers that were actually memory foam but bought covers from this venue. These fit perfectly and were easy to put on. Sleep great. People gripe about the frayed fabric by the zipper but not a problem if you simply run finger before the zipper. Did not see any loose stitches and have not washed yet. Had high expectations of a good product. Ordered the Queen size for my foam mattress topper. It did not fit properly. I removed the gel foam topper and measured. It was the exact measurements of a Queen size topper and the claimed size of this cover. So it was sized incorrectly and does not fit correctly. When I did place the foam topper in the cover it was not only loose and unsightly but the construction is amateurish. Poorly sewn seems and zipper not fully attached. I did manage to close the zipper but again did not fit and was loose and so poorly constructed it looked shabby and worn from the get go. Poor construction and not fully complete on hems or sewing the components together. Save your money and get another product. I bought this because my bed is old and looks like I'm not going to be able to get one right away and I thought this would be helpful. For starters when you get this item it says you should open it up and it takes about 48 hours for it to come to fruition with its fullness. It only takes about 2 hours. I opened mine up and I kept it out in my living room and I could have had it on my bed. So if you're area is at a temperature of 65°, you can put it on your bed after 2 hours. I also suggest having someone help you because it's really difficult to do it by yourself. I got the cover to go with this item and I was surprised by the cover and the quality of it it was really nice. So I thought that the cover would zip around on three sides well it only did it on two sides and you had to basically kind of put the mattress in between the cover kind of like a sandwich and it was a little difficult doing it by yourself. I got it done but it would be easier with two people. By the way the cover for the mattress washes nicely. I slept on the bed the first night and it seemed fine after 3 or 4 days I noticed that the mattress kind of slides down a little bit. Also it kind of buckles on my bed so I have these big rolling hills on my mattress which all I have to do is lift up the fitted sheet on my bed and straighten it out but still kind of a pain in the neck to have to deal with. I thought about getting some of those plastic nylon shelving pieces of material to see if it would help stay in place. On the bottom of the mattress cover there is some kind of material that seems it should help but it really doesn't. I would say it's good not a great item but it is kind of comfy but I really expected something totally different but it's okay for now.
