This is a nice sturdy backdrop. We used it for banners at a graduation party but we plan on using it for a photo backdrop also. It really added to the party and was great for displaying it banners. It is fairly easy to set up and take down and comes with a nice storing bag. It can be adjusted to different heights and widths. It came with bags that you hang on the side and fill for weights. This backdrop stand is worth every penny! It comes well packed and is super easy to assemble. The upper rods are 2.5 ft each. This makes it accommodating for different backdrops sizes. The backdrop I had was 5 ft; two rods fit perfect. The metal is sturdy and durable. Everything you need is included even ribbon & sand bags. The backdrop cloth, is not included. The clamps work, but I must say there are nicer clamps out there to ADD to this stand. The legs stay attached to the clip at the end of the pole. Just unclip and extend out. Then it's best to attach the rods going across, then unscrew the side knobs to get the height you need. I love that it has a carrying case too! I use this all the time for my kids’ birthday parties! I always buy banners but the locations don’t always have good spots to hang them up. This is very easy to assemble and put up my banners. My only complaint would be that it is a little flimsy so it can’t hang anything heavier than a birthday banner. Blankets would probably be too heavy for it. ... show more

This is okay for simple once in a while needs, but you might consider it a little flimsy if you are expecting something heavy duty. The tri-pod legs can get in the way and be a tripping hazard. There is nothing wrong with the quality of the product but after several uses, I decided to upgrade to one with flat bases and telescoping (variable width) crossbar. This backdrop was quick and easy to assemble it probably took about 10 minutes to put up. I do recommend using the sand bags if you live in a wind area . I like that it is sturdy and can hold up very welI used it for a balloon arch set up and it turned out amazing. You are able to adjust the height which is a plus. It is a good price for diy project.
