Good value for the price. If you need something that is sturdy enough to do pull-ups on, keep looking because this is not that. It will hold up a light drop cloth, but I would hesitate to clip on anything made from even moderately thick fabric. You get what you pay for, at the end of the day.

Exactly what I expected. This backdrop stand is very tall and supports the video application that I'm running. The only downfall is, one of the stands is a tad bit shorter than the other, and was a little difficult to open. I put together the backdrop rack as so as it came in and found it to be sturdy and easy to put up. If I have any negatives is that the sand bags just have a zipper so sand will leak. I’ll be putting sand in a zip lock freezer bag before putting in the zipper compartments.

The white finish looks really great, so I really wanted this to work. Unfortunately, when I extended this to near its full height, it was just too flimsy. Even with a fairly lightweight backdrop, the top vertical rods started bending forward noticeably. I weighed down the tripod legs with sandbags, but it didn't help. The problem is that the upper vertical rods are just too weak. Probably they need to use thicker aluminum. Sadly I had to return this otherwise beautiful stand. ... show more
