    • Works so well for my inflammatory rosacea!
My rosacea went from mild to inflammatory over the past year and can no longer tolerate many things - most foundations, sun blocks, etc. I've been using Dr. Jart Cicipair Tiger Grass for years because my skin tolerated it, and it was covering the redness pretty well. However, as my rosacea worsened, the Cicipair wasn't working as well for me for a few reasons: it wouldn't adhere well to my breakouts but it would adhere so completely to the flakier parts of my skin that I couldn't wash it off in spots, it made my enlarged pores noticeable, and when I had to reapply sunblock every few hours the sunblock would wipe off patches of the Cicipair leaving a mess while I was out in public. I was reluctant to try this Blush Away corrector powder since my face is very dry. However, I am amazed at how wonderfully it works! I moisturize beforehand, and I apply it very, very lightly to needed spots, slowly building it up. I use a small brush for precise application (being heavy handed with the powder causes it to look green). I have been using it for two weeks, and it doesn't irritate my rosacea, it adheres evenly to my whole face and washes off easily with a facial cleanser, it doesn't make my pores look larger, and the corrector powder remains in place after several careful applications of Elta MD sunblock on top of it. I do still prefer to wear a foundation over this because it is slightly paler than my skin. I tried the Lily Lolo mineral foundation on top of the corrector powder, and I never thought my skin could look so close to the way it looked before I had rosacea. The foundation has an SPF of 15 and I have found that wearing it daily around the house seems to be lessening my breakouts, which I assume is because my rosacea is bothered by even the sunlight of being indoors.
