I chose the burgundy sweater in a size small so I do believe this runs true to size. The true color of this sweater in my opinion is picture number 2. This is a sweater definitely made for the winter as it is pretty warm (but not too thick) and is very classy looking and meant to wear off the shoulder. It does not have any type of silicone or anything to keep it sitting off of your shoulder, but the fabric and material and comfort level is very luxurious feeling.
