This coatigan weighs 2.3lbs. The knit is dense, silky, and the colors are absolutely beautiful. I bought 3. Perfect neutral colors to transition into fall, light winters, and back in spring. Dress up, dress down. I bought another brand with a single pointed lapel. It fit like a box, and the sleeves were too short. This sz Medium coatigan runs just a bit big & slightly off the true shoulder, but I like the extra room to wear a sweater or layers underneath, and sleeves are the perfect length (long enough, but you don't have to cuff them). I am 5'4", medium build/weight/bustline. (US size 8). Have not laundered it. The mfg. instructions say dry clean only, however another brand with the exact fiber content and percentage said it is hand washable. I don’t know. I would consider this a MUST BUY wardrobe item. It won't go out of style. The notched lapel adds another layer of stylishness. It would look very dressy with an ornate shawl/pashmina/wrap, or great with a turtleneck sweater/jeans/boots, or overtop your favorite fitted black dress! It is VERY RARE I write reviews, but this deserved it. BUY THIS! Edit/Update: These come tightly packaged and have what appear to be darker pressed lines in the knit. I was seriously concerned that they were integral to the fabric. But, I gently washed and hung dry, and it has no lines... so the darker lines will come out.

Being petite and with a square, boxy build, I have tremendous difficulty finding flattering trench coats. After much deliberation, I am so thrilled that I purchased this one. It has a good heft to it to keep me warm on chilly evenings (including 40-degree strolls through downtown). We just came back from a weekend getaway in Denver, and this coat kept me warm during a distillery tour (in and out of factory and barrel house buildings with no heat), and it paired beautifully when I changed into a nice outfit for dinner at a high-end restaurant. Looks fabulous with jeans and more dressy attire. Planning to wear this for running errands and to the office. Will likely come back and order at least one other color. Very pleased with the look, the fit, and the weight.

This is a very nice, good quality sweater coat. Fit is true to size. It did arrive wrinkled so I need to use my iron to get rid of the wrinkles out which was easy to do and worth the effort. Very impressed with look and quality for the price.

This feels more like a sweater than it does a coat, but it looks like quality. I plan on wearing it on my trip to England during the summertime in the evening. It’s not too heavy, but thick enough to keep you warm. However, it did come fairly wrinkled, so I will have to get the wrinkles out. No weird odor. Material is soft. I do think it is a bit overpriced at $50. $35 Price Would have been more fitting for this quality

This is tailored like a blazer but long like a duster! The fabric is so soft & comfortable! It is thicker sweater-like fabric, but not too heavy. I will wear as a blazer/jacket on colder days. It was well worth the wait, as it takes a while longer than most things to arrive. The price increased since I purchased mine, or I would buy many more colors.

At the last minute the forecast for my daughter's wedding had rain so I ordered this sweater coat and another one to choose from. I ended up using this one and it was perfect! It looked great and kept me warm later in the evening. It is nice quality and a lovely color at a great price.

I’d love it if only it weren’t so oversized. I bought a small, which is typical for me (5’8”, 130 lb, 34” chest), but it felt like I was a kid wearing my dad’s coat. The fabric felt great, color was fantastic, and the quality of product was spot on. I question if mine had been mislabeled and was a different size. I am going to try exchanging it to see if I can get a better fitting one. Of note - there are 2 caramel colors to choose from. I ordered the one that looks caramel but noticed that the second caramel one had a more rustic/orange color. Perhaps that’s why folks have been disappointed in the color of the caramel one? // EDIT: I ordered the XS, and it’s night and day different in fit. 4” smaller around, much better!

This is not a lightweight clingy cardigan. It is a cardigan/coat. Very heavy knit, doesn't cling. It arrives folded and mine had lots of creases which I got out by ironing with a fairly hot iron with steam. I turned it inside out and ironed on the wrong side of the sweater and kept the iron moving. There are no buttons or snaps - it hangs open so you could belt it if you wished. Not a flimsy thin sweater - it's heavy, the knit is very tight and dense. I'm pleased with it.
