Only reason why I rated 4 stars was there were a few minor chips and a part of the burner was broken. Nothing Gorilla glue couldn't fix. Feathers work. Easy to assemble but will take a few hours to do so.

It took a lot of time to assemble this kitchen. Cheaper wood materials but overall our 2 year old is happy with his kitchen. Not worth the price but looks good once assembled.

When the batteries die you can’t replace them. It is really cute but the magic will die when the batteries die.

The end result looks great and is solid. The assembly instructions were fairly detailed but somewhat incomplete. Two of the components require batteries, but this is not mentioned anywhere in the instructions! For one component, it would be quite difficult to add batteries after assembly was complete. Some steps in the assembly use only dowels, which do not stabilize the components very well. You would benefit from a second pair of hands to steady things and make the next steps easier. Finally, the final assembly installing the top piece was quite challenging. Following the instructions didn't work, as components that were connected only with dowels or pegs kept shifting. I ended up needing to fasten the left side down with the screws to stabilize it so I could fit the other end in place. I'm very happy with the final result, but the directions could be improved. ... show more
