I gave it a 3 star rating, only because I do not know that medium firm was also bouncy soft. At least this one happens to be. I do mind a tad of bounce but I need a firm, not rock hard firm, surface. This is due to mobility issues and severe back problems. Overall, I am getting to like this mattress. Right size- a twin. Not so higher, I feel like i need to jump up on it. I love the heavier coils, I am not sinking to slats. I would had like better padding between surface and coils though. I feel the other coils. It does get worse when my swelling becomes heavier (this is a disease). So foar though, it is not that bad. I can layer my pillows, so I sit up higher and feel very supported. And my favorite, it has a great edge! My last mattress, had none. It kept trying to roll me out onto the floor. I am impressed with the quality of the mattress. There are even sewn in hand loops to help move the bed on the sides of the mattress. I saw no loose threads, puckers or other issues with the construction. There is one major item, that most people do not notice. I can move to the center without difficulty. I would usually need to use an overhang grip mechanism. This time, it was not needed. I can dig my feet in if I need but I love the support my heel have. Even though I gave it a 3 star rating, I plan on keeping it. I have a bedside step that I can use, a specialized mattress pad to help. There is one unexpected "side effect". I get to increase my mobility, sitting up, standing out of bed, back relief and hope. My plan is that in the next six months, I will just be using cane or canes to walk. And, I am resting well, felling stronger each day.

This is a mattress in a box that you cut open and it expands into a 12 inch thick mattress. It is still a mystery to me how they compress and vacuum seal a mattress enough to get it into a box, and then like magic it expands back to its full height when you open it. This is a very comfortable mattress! Not too firm and not too soft. It is 12 inches thick so it is just the right height for the platform bed without having to use a box spring. This mattress has so many different layers of special purpose memory foam, springs and even cool gel memory foam to give you the best combination for ultimate comfort. My back feels so supported without the bed being too hard. It is so comfortable and feels very stable too. When I turn over the whole bed doesn’t move like the old mattress did. One of the best things about this mattress is that it is made right here in the USA and is CertiPUR certified so you can be sure the materials are safe. The firmness rating is Medium, and for me is the perfect Goldilocks bed–not too hard, not too soft, but just right. I love sleeping on this mattress.

It’s pretty neat that a whole mattress can fit inside a small (quite heavy) box! You open the vacuum sealed bag, let it air out a few days, and voilà! You have a mattress! Unlike some other foam mattresses, this does not have that terrible chemical smell, which is great. This twin size mattress is perfect for a kids room or guest bedroom, offering comfort that works for most bodies in a nice compact size. It’s a nice compromise between firm and soft, offering support, without having it feel hard. The combination of coils and foam also give it good integrity all the way to the edge, so you don’t roll off no matter where you sleep. In case you like videos of these things gradually expanding, I got a clip of that, as well as some pictures of how it looks after fully opening.
