Not sure what I was expecting - a six-drawer dresser is a complex object. If it packs flat, it'll be a lot of work to assemble. But I was a little astonished when I laid out all the parts neatly and was confronted with about a dozen different types of fasteners. Although long (~6 hours for me), the assembly was mostly painless - the end result is a solid, reasonably good-looking dresser. The finishing gets a B minus: some holes should have been countersunk and weren't, sometimes the particle board split slightly when screwed into, and the cam-lock nuts were soft metal that was easily chewed up by the (dinky yet surprisingly good) included screwdriver. The drawers are fairly smooth, but only slide out about halfway, which was disappointing - you don't really feel like you're getting full access to the drawer. That might be a choice made for child safety. The solid wood top adds a lot to the looks and makes it nicer to use. Mine got dinged a little through the packaging though, and it is darker and less glossy than the photos suggest. The drawer pull rings are also a little off center. I may sound critical, but when you spend six hours assembling an object you get pretty familiar with the details. Ultimately, I'm impressed with the looks, function, and build quality of the dresser and I think it's worth the asking price, and the time spent building it.

This farmhouse style dresser is even nicer in person than in the photos. It has a solid wooden top and the rest is engineered wood and has a scratch proof, waterproof and easy to clean wood grain finish. The body of the dresser is black, and the 1” thick top is dark rustic brown. It is so well made. It takes 3-4 hours to assemble, but it is well worth it. There are no wobbles or gaps thanks to the dowel and screw fasteners. The drawer sliders operate smoothly too. I love the large round metal drawer pulls that give the design substance as well as ease of use. This piece would be right at home in a bedroom, or even used as a TV stand. It is heavy, so you may need help moving it. They have added anti-tip feet and straps for safety. The 6 drawers are deep and provide lots of storage. One complaint I have is that the stickers labeling the parts to help with assembly are very difficult to remove, and leave behind a sticky residue that you have to use some sort of solvent like goo remover to get it off. This is a very nice dresser and looks more expensive than it is.

This is an absolutely beautiful dresser. It feels very sturdy. It was easy to assemble, but it took a very long time. It took me about five hours to put together by myself, and I have a lot of experience with assembling furniture. I highly recommend assembling with a partner or two. The finished product looks good and the price is fair.

It took me about 3 hours to build, and that was with my power drill. Building it with the screw driver would have taken days. It's sturdy. It stands balanced. The instructions were really easy to follow. The drawers slide in and out well. It fit perfectly in the space I wanted it to. The quality is great. I love it.

This dresser is really nice looking when you get it together. The handles are real metal and the top is real wood. the rest of it is made with pressed wood but still looks very nice. It is quite heavy so it is best to build it where you want to put it, and it did take me and my partner almost 3 hours to put together and we are very good at assembling things. The instructions are very good and easy to understand and all the parts were in the box which was a relief. I love this dresser it really makes my whole room look nicer.
