I don’t even understand how anyone could complain about this scooter. I am a woman and just put this together myself very easily. I find the construction of it excellent. I was concerned it might be flimsy because it was such a reasonable price, but it is very sturdy and I don’t feel the least bit unsteady on it. I noticed one complained about the handlebar being wobbly. I believe that to be user error, rather than a default in the scooter. The instructions say, when you put the bar onto the frame and slide it in place, you tighten it with the lever that is used to unlatch it in order to fold it. I feel that step may have been left out in that one particular review, I read. The instruction book has directions if the brakes don’t fit the wheels properly, which are very easy to rectify seemingly. So all in all, I find this to be an excellent product. I got the blue and it’s a beautiful color. If I find that I have problems with the scooter, I will come back and edit this review, otherwise I’ll leave it as is because I am extremely happy with my purchase! Update: I still love this score but I want able to use it. I had previously had serious knee surgery on the leg with the hurt ankle and I found that leaning on it for my ankle’s sake just hurt my knee too much. I still give it five stars though, but was never able to review the durability.

I dont understand any negative reviews. My son put this together fairly quickly. The knee rest is comfortable and the turning radius better than some professional brands. I bought this because of the front pegs. They provide versatility so you can sit and still prop your injured leg. I love the stop and hold brake, which is better than just a hand brake alone. I bought hot red but it's really more orange/coral. Not my favorite color but I don't care. It serves its purpose. The folding feature is nice but I don't think it does much, except bring down the handle bars so they don't hit a car roof. I wish I got the purple but again, not a fashion show. It is worth the money and easy to maneuver.

I am trying to understand that how dose the parking brake work. Either mine is defected product or the design is not good. The parking break never work for me. The hand part always shaking, so i found a screw nut to security it. See the photo. General speaking, the function is good. It looks also good too.

Wife broke her Tibial plateau ....very painful and worst is that she has to stay completely off for 6 weeks.....crutches are OK, but wanted something she could get around faster and easier. It needed to have a foot rest to the front...this was one of the few that did.....AND it is way cheaper...by A LOT. Went together easily and is VERY sturdy! Basket is a huge plus since she can't carry anything with crutches. Easy for her to move around in the house and porch. She is 5' and her foot didn't "rest" on the foot peg, so I was able to attach a 6" half tube to the rest so she could rest her entire calf inside it. NOT a design flaw, it is just her injury won't allow her to rest the bottom on the peg....easy to engineer a solution. It can be used for the classic "knee down on seat" (like most are)...the foot peg and price made this impossible for me to pass up....if you need something to sit on and PROP your injured leg up, look no further.....this will be the ticket.

The media could not be loaded. Ok, but not great. Fairly easy to put together. The break tightening instructions say you only need to do a few turns to adjust, but in reality it took close to 20 turns and I kept having to slide the spring behind the bolt because the bolt isn't large enough to keep the spring in place. The handle bar system is wiggly. The part that folds down doesn't lock into place securely, so it's not super stable. If you're short, also not the best. I'm 5'4 and the lowest setting is just slightly too high and causes hip pain if I'm up using it for too long. I can't use an added cushion because it's way too high for me and caused me to fall a week after surgery. If you're only needing the scooter for a short period of time, then it's a great option. I would not suggest it to anyone who has stability issues or a fall risk.

Purple scooter for my daughter. She’s going to be having foot surgery. Hopefully this helps her get around the house. Also day life until she can walk. I can tell you this so far. Heavy duty, beautiful color, easy to put together. Well easy for me to say lol. I didn’t put together lol.

Problem with item safety latch. The latch will not stay locked in the designated slot. There is a lot of play & rocking on the handle not steady. This match keeps falling out of the slot and I have to keep picking it up and putting in into place. The description says to sit but the seat is uncomfortable to sit on and roll. FYI- holes at a different side on seat post would help to rotate sideways to sit. Multi position.

Update to original review. Raised to 2 stars from 1. The scooter operates fine other than the brakes. However not having the brakes is significant to the functionally. Scooter rolls well, knee pad is comfortable. Not having a customer service number to call is limiting to addressing the issues Received the product today and began assembly. As soon as I put the wheels on I noticed the metal frame on one side that holds the brake pad was bent badly so it is impossible for the brake pad to make contact (see photo). Additionally, the front foot rest with a button snap on will not connect. It is sized wrong so the button will not pop through the hole. There is no customer service number to call only an email. Also followed instructions to try and tighten the one brake that does work and it does not work per instructions.
